Charles Green and his initial backers have achieved a remarkable result with what is already evident in their prospectus. Page 66 notes: “In the period to 31 August 2012, a total of 25,340,000 shares were issued for a total consideration of £7,719,000”, issued at approximately 30.4p per share. At a price of 70p per share these shares would be worth £17.738m, a cool £10m profit.
Since that August date Green has enjoyed something of a windfall. Page 83 notes, “The contractual right to an option over 10 per cent. of the enlarged ordinary share capital of RFCL was exercised by Charles Green on 31 October 2012 by a partial exercise notice pursuant to which 5,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in RFCL were issued to Charles Green on 31 October 2012.”
That’s 5m shares, worth 70p each, which is a stunning £3.5m to add to the above £10m!

I am knackered and its late, however, I like the idea that the book, the film and the play that is the demise of Sevco is still alive and well. However as we know its the pantomime season and in all good pantomimes there are lots of familiar twists, apocryphal stories and jokes. Its certainly been like that at Castle Greyskull and there seems to be an everlasting stream of great one liners and good craic around their antics.
Now I am confused as to how the last storyline fits in with all of this, like the original story of Aladdin, before the invention of his erstwhile mother Widow Twanky, there was Aladdin and the 67 Thieves. The thieves you will recall stashed all their loot in the cave that only Aladdin and the Genie could overcome the spell to get to Aladdin’s cave. Where of course all the treasure was !
Now I cannot for the life of me see how this latest profiled event at The Rangers fits in with a pantomime story line. Collaboration of STV and The Rangers club in telling us of the calamitous story of injustice that surrounds the PFA’s action against CW and Duff and Dufffer seems like an interlude in the pantomime akin to the staff at the Pavilion trying to sell you a programme for a Sydney Devine concert.
Am I missing the opportunity to buy tickets to see a show even funnier than this season’s best pantomime !
