The cabal failed. Through their point man in the Highlands they thought had the numbers the null and void the entire league season. Poker was the game of their choice and they intimated they had documented evidence of wrongdoing at the SPFL in their hand. Neil Doncaster and Rod McKenzie must go!
Fortified, the SPFL called their bluff. ‘We call you, show us your hand!’ There was no response. It was pitiful. Still, today, they call for an investigation. Produce your evidence or, respectfully, shut your greetin’ face. There is no evidence, but they cannot say that. Consequently, they have left fans disillusioned, paranoid and bitter, not a demographic you would want to build an empire on. All this when they need to queue to buy tissues from the supermarket.
For the record, Celtic have been significantly stressed throughout this period. We held no aces; but if I were to list those I would never play poker against, Peter Lawwell would be in top spot.
We are not in the business of offering a job to an exec at a Championship club if he could provide a vote. But we could offer experience, sincerity and assuredness. This proved to be enough while the car salesman was ranting about Private Eye.
Now Ann Budge is to head up a working party to look into league reconstruction, I think we all know how well it will be run. In her statement this morning, Ann is still expressing anger – at others, not at those who contrived to leave Hearts four points adrift of the third best supported team in the third largest town in Lanarkshire.
All the angst you witnessed since yesterday is all about stopping Celtic winning the league in the only way possible – by ensuring no one can win the league. We would still prefer to complete the season on the park, but that will not happen.
This will be a memorable season in our Celtic supporting lives. You have a tale to tell to future generations. There is not a championship winning game to discuss, just a beautiful asterisk. Own the asterisk; tell people that as the floodlights went out across Europe, we stood 13 points clear. Tell them our asterisk denotes sporting performance, not cheating player registration.
This has been a sweet one.

Spfl need to take sevco to task. Bringing the game into disrepute on an almost daily basis.
Demanding suspensions and investigations without a shred of evidence.

TBB,
I must start by saying that I am dubious about all sources, twitter and google are very high on my alarm list.
So, I am currently doing my own little research project on the different phylogeny (mutation) tree’s, one of the things I am noticing by cross checking only the numbers and acronyms is that there are quite a few discrepancies.
I hope all’s well with me too, who TF knows :) and I hope you and yours are healthy and remain that way.

The most important issue facing all of us at this time is the Covid-19 pandemic and the Board of Rangers sincerely hope all of our fans and their families are staying safe and healthy. Hopefully we will all be back supporting our team as soon as possible.
However, given events of the past week, we feel we should make comment on the SPFL resolution vote. No fair minded person can take the outcome of this vote seriously. The SPFL has conducted a process which has been misleading and deeply flawed.
In particular, publishing the outcome prior to all clubs having voted has undermined the democratic process and demonstrated unacceptable standards of corporate governance by the SPFL Executive.
We are extremely concerned that member clubs were not provided with enough information, or time, to allow them to make fully informed decisions.
Also, we are aware several club directors claimed they were being bullied at a time when Scottish football should have been acting in unity to alleviate the financial hardship of many of our clubs. Addressing the latter was one of our primary objectives and the resolution we presented could and should have been progressed.
The SPFL chose to obstruct our resolution which would have given clubs the required financial support, without the pre-condition of ending the season. The fact that this solution was not afforded sufficient consideration defies belief and further underlines the view held by many clubs that the processes and behaviours of certain individuals must now be the subject of forensic examination.
For our part, Douglas Park has already requested an independent investigation into the conduct of the executive. The SPFL appear to have acknowledged the need for an internal investigation – but only an independent investigation will provide satisfactory, credible answers. We repeat our call for the immediate suspension of Neil Doncaster and Rod McKenzie pending the outcome of the independent investigation.
It is imperative that constructive engagement begins immediately with members to evaluate all options for completing the 2019/20 Premiership season, including on the field of play. The SPFL must allow every opportunity to do so. There is precedent within Scottish football that a league must not be compromised by changing the rules during the course of the competition.
The anger of our fans is understood and shared by our Board, who continue to examine all legal options available.
There is a power of good information here.

Good ‘ole BBC Scotland making sure the hun rants get front and centre whilst knowing they’re unable to ask question in the interests impartiality.
It makes you wonder how they can slavishly cheer on all things ‘Rangers’ whilst being unable to fulfil their supposed obligation for balanced journalism.
Lots of noise this week in my wee close – well done NHS and all other vital workers.
Am saving all my claps for Betty’s birthday’s

Moanaghan posted earlier, not seen him on for a long time, he used to c&p a lot from swallow swallow.
Hopefully if he’s lurking and still has access to it, he will post some of the diatribe from it.
‘The anger of our fans’.
That’s all they have.
Probably nonsense but I’d take wee Paddy Roberts back and give him a home to shine.
On his day a terrific player.
Sevco statements are crazy, whats the shite about consider all options to end season including playing the games 🤣 I thought that was their first choice, silly me. Their game is and always was the nill and void the league and or to tell their supporters that was the goal, look we are just like you we hate the celtic too!!! give us you money we have big hooses to pay for!!!!
I agree the spfl may have been wrong to publish names of clubs yet to vote, but dundee just like every other club had the right to decide which way to vote and had 28 days to change that vote if they so wished if their first vote was no. It’s no spfl that made those rules up.
It’s also very common for those that bring the vote to get behind it, anybody remember, what do they expect spfl to do? Come up with a strategy then campaign against it.
it seems that its ok for clubs to work in concert to bury a proposal. That being the case sevco should have worked harder with their own agenda.
Oh and from now on in sevcoland we just find people guilty of wrongdoing, punish then then take them to trial , no evidence required.
Yip crazy
Compare the first paragraph with the second last paragraph from the Trfc.
1st par:Most important issue facing all of us at this time is the covid-19 pandemic.
2nd par:It is imperative that constructive engagement begins immediately with members to evaluate all options for completing the 2019/20 Premiership season, including on the field of play.

So what does the Trfc suggest?
Did the writer reward himself with a biscuit?
I’m very worried about the Huns looking at legal options, I mean they have a good track record in the courts😱😵
Macjay
True, given your political leanings I would imagine you would be against the deep state in the US, full of satanists and democrats, and just for the record, Trump is not my cup of tea either, gun to my head, I would have him all day long if the choice was him or the corporate dems with their social control and vaccines.
PP
I thought UEFA said clubs cannot take legal action against their ruling body?
Philbhoy
As I’ve on here before, FC Sion…..That’s what UEFA will do to you if you try that trick😁
PP
Cheers!
Administration is a legal option…
SFA is our ruling body for UEFA purposes I think.
Lhads,
Here’s the huns statement………….

I don’t think any other league outside of Belgium will call their top championship over until the threat of no UEFA participation is removed, possibly next week.
It has been my experience if you ask most English people when St George’s Day is, unlike the Celts who know their national date, they won’t be able to tell you it is April 23rd. That date may become significant in our history.
——————————————————————————————————————————————-
Pog,
Reading back seen your post, agree most folk would not recognise 23rd April,I however i have won many a bet,for as you say most English don’t recognise the day, however as its my birthday shared with Roy Orbison and William Shakespeare I do know it.
Lets hope Title recognised on this date also .
PS. St George also Patron Saint of Barcelona with the red cross on their strip, known as Sant Jordi and was the name chosen by Johan Cruyff for his son ( Jordi )
Take care all.Stay safe.
