Well, i enjoyed the game. A great team could only beat 10 men. Forgot fabregas was playing until he scored.
We competed. We came very close to more glory.
Barca were ruthless. I think they will be close to the trophy this year.
3 Cl games against a brilliant side and we have only conceded 4 against them, scored 3. How many la liga teams can say that?

Ok itv complaint about chiles fired off. Keane needs a kick in the balls too, ignoring the financial gulf in his comments, I’m cutting him a bit of slack as he just thinks anyone can be a winner ( apart from him as a manager of course).

Neymar is a horrible individual. Saw him play acting at that tournament in Brazil too. His reaction got Brown sent off. Thought last year we got a few breaks along the way. This year they’ve gone against us.
Once again proud of celtic tonight as i was 2 weeks ago in the san siro. Scott Brown let us down , yes it was a bit harsh but the referee had every right to send him off . Why even go there Scott, I thought you had grew out that nonsense :@(

Never really seen the game and listened on the radio whilst they described Brown’s sending off, but, if I had to guess which Celtic player ended up getting sent off for a silly kick, on the deck, after a tussle, then Captain Insensible’s yer man. Every time. Get wise Scott!

Lustig: dont think he had a good game, poor distribution, looked slow
Matthews: looked he still had a bit of the virus in him. Tried, but was off his game
Brown: we’ve played the game. We know a dig now an again is part of it. He was daft in his choice of time an place.
We defended well.. This is Barca remember. Goin forward, our deficiencies were amplified tonight

No… Broonie kicking out at him while he was on the ground got him sent off.
Agree 100% that Neymar is a wee plook that I would also like to kick but that does not help Broonie’s case. He let Celtic down. Simple as that.
The James Forrest obsession almost led to us scoring.

Fanad, James came closest to scoring tonight. Lustig was on a yellow, in last 20 mins with Barca running at him he was vulnerable. Matthews was a bit at sea in midfield, switching him back and bringing Beram on, made sense to me.
okay silly mistake from Scott Brown. He probably just tried to do a little nip out of petulance and didn’t realise he was seen doing it. Stupid thing to do and the team paid the price. He should have known that someone with Neymar’s reputation would act like a sniper had shot him. As someone said previously it’s not as if it was a Gemmellesque kick. Also Sammi was doing similar antics to this and Alves so I think we can’t complain too much. Life’s a bitch and we really need to learn to be cuter about this. I don’t personally like this way of playing but it is how the game is now.
I thought the team played well though for the most part and think it was tiredness that cost the goal.. Emilio got caught napping with the overlap but was already trying to cover a runner (can’t remember who) and as others previously mentioned he was exposed and having to work hard most of the game. Efe tried to cover the cross but got caught out because Fabergas stepped back from his run to create space.
I don’t enjoy a defeat but I think we gave a decent account of ourselves and shouldn’t overreact. We should remember a Celtic side playing with 10 men for much of the second half was narrowly defeated by a vastly richer Barcelona,

It would be interesting to see a list of Neil Lennon’s substitutions against Barca. I always admire him for his positive choices. Tony Watt, Forrest etc.
play acting or not, it was a sending off offence. Rather than berate Neymar, NL should home in on his, yes, Captain! Apparently Mulgrew should have scored according to NL. I agree. For all the what ifs had Mulgrew scored, what if Brown had remained on the pitch? 1 point could make all the difference.
A wee kick at a player whatever the degree of contact is not on, whether its primary 2 football or Champions League. I’m angry and frustrated – the two things that Brown had been able to control prior to tonight.
