Without being to critical and I’m entitled to my opinion after what I watched tonight, this build up coming from the back needs to stop it gives away teams time to organise at the back ,also I don’t think Starfelt ,Carter Phillips and Taylor just doesn’t work, and it’s having an effect on Joe Hart .

we were given a lesson tonight on how to play the ange ball by a better team than us
they didnt play angeball, whatever that is, it was the sort of football you’ll see from most top teams in every league in Europe these days, and a lot of the poorer teams with a poorer quality of player.
TheLurkinTim on
Threesie….I put a lot of it down to confirmation bias…we play badly/get beat…out of the woodwork they come and say I told you so….we play well and win….a lot of these same posters are missing
Important not to criticise the players but my goodness, I hope he’s not serious in that post match assessment.

I don’t believe for a second that Ange thinks we controlled that game. Yes, he did say that, post match. But he’s playing a media game. He doesn’t throw his players under a bus.
Behind closed doors…he knows we were out played tonight. And he’ll also question his own team selection and tactics.

Bodo all calm and composure in defence and a couple of good goals in attack, perfect displayafter the holliers in the sunshine. Methinks teams like Bodo etc are actually inspired playing at Celtic Park . Celtic cannot play as badly again.
If that’s aimed at me, why don’t you have the courage of yer convictions and mention my moniker?
And bring up my parental skills…why don’t u enlighten me

I have to agree with MMitch from earlier, we don’t have a midfield that defends, the space at the third goal was unbelievable. Also makes our central defenders look worse than they are
Positive from tonight, Maeda has a knack for scoring even when he looks like he isn’t involved

We had nobody on the park or on the bench tonight to provide a spark . No surprise then, that we failed to ignite . Usual sparkers , Jota , Abada ,Rogic were damp squibs although O’Riley was decent . We have weaknesses in certain positions which we have not had time to address, but hopefully in the next window we will .
Bodo were good rather than great , it was their fitness , sharpness and organisation which made the difference.
Ange has said we are miles away from where we want to be and , if nothing else , tonight was a great way of ensuring we don’t get carried away .

I don’t think we controlled the game. We had a bit more of the ball but that’s to be expected as the home team. Bodo did a solid away number on us.
I’m not going to get carried away with the defeat – we’re top of the league and have the opportunity to take it out on a poor Dundee side on Sunday but we can’t dress tonight up and we have to call it what it was – a thoroughly bad day at the office.

Well. That’s disappointing. Spoke to my boys who were at the game and they had a different opinion than me. A little bit contradictory when one of them said O’Riley and Rogic can’t play together, then that Rogic was rubbish.
Well if Rogic was rubbish isn’t that the reason they can’t play together.
Nevertheless we were not at our best, individually and collectively. And not much luck either.
Both of which should improve next week. And that’s what I’m going with. Just as well away goals don’t count “double”. 2-0 will get us to extra time, then a winner.

What’s the best prep for tonight’s game.Slogging through games every 3 days in strength sapping conditions, and all that entails,or training in the sun, playing 2 or 3 friendlies.Getting back to fitness.

Sunday’s game is now critical. The drop in performance and attitude over the last few games has to be reversed otherwise the season could just slip away.

By the way Greg Taylor wid struggle to get a game for The Candy.
But they were all pish tonight, just watch Taylor’s final ball game by game very poor.

Let’s get real.
Unless there’s a miracle next week, knocked out of 3 European tournaments in the one season.
Disappointing to say the least.
Admittedly, we’d have to win this one to prevent that.
Still. Despite the obvious improvements, the manner of this defeat reminded me of last year.
Not at it.
Very disappointed.

Didn’t seem to be too ‘off it’ overall in the first half – except from giving good service to Daizen – but I thought we’d ramp it up for 2nd half.
We didn’t.
It actually fell away worse, while they kept the heid and gave us as good as we usually like to give out.
Were definitely back in it at 2-1 but their 3rd goal was flukey and it all looks worse than it was.
Agree that a few of their players were tidy – as others said the LB had Liel in his pocket and looks a rangy sort.
Eyes on the prize bhoys; eyes on the big prize for me.
