    One thing you won’t get from me is criticism of Neil Lennon,apart from the odd gripe about his selection or tactics. Very occasional,mind.

     

     

    Believe it or not….

     

     

    IMO,he has earned his right to be our manager,and I would like that to continue for some time. Such criticism as I make is meant to be constructive,and to get us playing better football than we are currently witnessing.

    Super sutton – if it’s the two auld muppets and their gimp who sit a few rows in front of me in 408, then other fans have reported them to the club in the past. Like myself, they’ve been there since the North Stand opened, but I can’t honestly remember them offering any encouragement to players, only their bile.

     

     

    They crapped themselves at a game last season, when a younger guy threatened them after they mouthed off and his young daughter was sitting with him. He asked them to screw the nut and got told where to go….he blew his nut!

     

    They went very quiet after that…it was quite funny!

    Unfortunately the guy with the young daughter is no longer to be seen. Hope he relocated rather than giving up because of these idiots.

     

     

    Also there was another time when a guy sat beside them and after heated discussion threatened to follow one of them home and …. Yep it was funny. However they have returned to type.

     

     

    I also heard they had been issued with a warning but maybe their good behaviour period has expired.

     

     

    Also, not a steward in sight for the whole game. Conveniently for them.

    VW showed his class after 6 games.

     

    GH was up to speed from his first appearance.

     

    KW started well then had a sticky patch and finished with a series of good CL performances.

     

     

    The “Missing 5” have so far offered very little.

     

    They took up a lot of scouting time and effort.

     

    They cost a significant amount of money and wages.

     

     

    So far only NB offers any sort of hope for the future.

     

    And that is based on a performance that LNG was providing week in week out under BTM.

     

    Not BK, not ES, not VW but our MAF makeweight of 4 years ago.

     

     

    I hope DB / SM / AB / TP go on and prove me wrong.

     

    Unfortunately I think we will be in for a long wait.

     

    All that effort and no CF — Shambolic.

    The point being they were replaced by similar signings price wise..and more.

     

     

    You offered these new signings as evidence to support your criticism of the board for a lack of investement. That’s not factually correct.

     

     

    Our opinoin on the relative success on the signings or otherwise is a different discussions.

    corkcelt is pissed so just one post and thats it. When i first started posting maybe 4 or 5 years ago, I took it easy for a while until I got the hang of things. Now I notice first time posters popping up all over the place and from word go they are going for the jugular. Controversial is their middle names, am I particularly reticent or are we under a major Hun onslaught. I’m still ok enough to use asterisks so F*** all Huns up the Celts. God Bless all Tims.

    Bmcwp thanks for the update , I hope Auldheid , canalamar and morrisey are still on the case behind the scenes , there’s a lot of educated posters on here , keeping us upto date of which I’m grateful , so many different views but the objective is the same and that is to make our club a force on and off the field , anyhow time for a kip g/nite fellow hoopies :))

    I have offered them as further evidence of our shambolic / scattergun player recruitment strategy which appears to put the financial well being of agents before the long term success of the club.

     

     

    It just doesn’t make sense and you have to ask why?

     

    Two things made this season different.

     

     

    We had serious revenue coming in from player sales — £20mill +

     

    We has serious money in the bank from last seasons CL campaign.

     

     

    On top of that we had the opportunity of further serious money if we made into the CL again.

     

    And what did we do — lucky bag of the the young / the half finished / the hopeful / the lost.

     

     

    We spent money but only one looked as if he had been properly scouted.

     

    Consequently who benefitted from this amateur looking player search?

    I have not been in these guys vicinity so it is hard for me to comment on an individual basis.

     

     

    However, judging by recent posts these supporters have been there since the opening of the area. They attend constantly and although their language may not be choice or their abuse of the team etc. may be hard to endure, at least they are there week in week out.

     

     

    More photographs, more censorship, reminds me of section 111.

    I would not make anything of how supporters react to their pain (but I’m glad I am not in the kind of pain being suffered by the south side club playing in blue at Ibrox stadium.)
