I am embarrassed as a Celtic fan.
This lot are an amateur team who have been organised well and yet looked the more professional of the two teams on the park.
Absolutely disgusted.
Embarrassed at my clubs performance, embarrassed by the board’s lack of urgency, embarrassed by Neil Lennon’s tactics, team selection and subs. Neil Lennon is a yes man and that performance has just potentially cost us £20m not to mention a waste of losing our two best players.
Those with any foresight have been pointing it out for weeks.
There is no excuse and something must be done – now!

I have been banging on during Lennons tenure about our useless possession.
Typically under this coach in worthless areas.
He seems to be obsessed with it but does not seem to understand the difference in positive and negative possession.
We are a very poor team who are easy to defend. With our ponderous approach play.
We lack tactics ,shape and cohesion and are solely reliant on our better players having good individual moments.
We should have signed a striker and creative mid but Lennon probably wouldn’t know how to utilize them.
We had 3 strikers available and none were picked.

Well..they now have to come home and play inverness. Its been a difficult week, playing the sheep and playing on the Tuesday…but the blame falls directly on the team. They looked knackered. They might be knackered now.

Lost 2-0 to a team that would struggle in the Ayrshire juniors. Not good enough.
Untested back 4 looked like an untested back 4 and we paid the price for not having a midfield playmaker or recognised striker. There’s no point having all the possession if you don’t do anything with it.
We may yet turn it round but I fear they will score from a set piece at Celtic Park and put the tie to bed. Hope I’m wrong.

Whatever Sammi is, he is not a lone striker and we knew that ages ago.

I wish someone would tell Neil that. Sammi was woeful. Simply woeful. Near the end of the game he actually stood on the ball and tripped over himself ! The fact he stayed on the pitch is a monument to Neil Lennon’s stupidity.
I for one think we will be through and win easy at home.

I know you are gutted like the rest of us but language like that has no place here.
The commentators repeatedly used the word Desire and I have got to say we never matched them and that’s unforgiveable with so much at stake truly pathetic. Make them walk feckin home!
I hope Lenny explains team selection. A few questions marks over selection and positions.

I didn’t think we were as bad as some make out but that is a shocking result against a very average football team. Failing to score could be our downfall, but we can get more than 2 goals against this lot at home.
Hang the blame at Lenny’s door for this one. Very poor decision to play a new centre back partnership and to play James Forrest in a game like this. Said it before kick-off.
Remember this was a tough game under the travel and pitch conditions. Cut the Bhoys a little slack. They will have to redeem themselves at home.
Lads a part time team in Dublin could score twice against this mob at home don’t tell me we can’t score three. In saying that tactically Lennon had a nightmare today. Needs to learn his lessons.
A tactically inept performance. the players we have at our disposal should be capable of beating a team like that.
When was the plan hatched to play Moloukyo and Virgil as our CB pairing. If it was always going to be the setup then they should have played together at Pittodrie.

There set up is to defend en masse and hit on the break that is how they put out Bate. It may not be pretty but they know what they are doing and they are effective at it. Yes of course we can beat them by more than 2 at Celtic Park but the problem is they will do the same thing. If they get one on a break we will need 4. The tie is still up for grabs but I bet the Bookies will make Shaktar favs to get through.
