   Just in, haven’t looked back, but I expect PL will be getting it in the neck.

    

    

   There’s no doubt that we wilfully weakened the team, albeit that Wanyama was a one off and hopelessly irreplaceable.

    

    

   We did though elect to sell our +30 goals man, and have not replaced him in time for this tie. That’s an issue that PL stands foursquare accountable for.

    

    

   The central defence, and indeed the defensive strategy, is all Lenny’s brief.

   Having watched that team tonight, I would focus on what team you want to start with next Wednesday.

    

    

   Then I would pick my side to play against ICT from the remainder so that whoever is playing next week is as hungry as hell.

    

    

   The exception might be Dirk, Balde, and Stokes to get game time, and if we are to continue with Virgil and Stephen at the back then they should play together as often as possible.

   Deep down does anyone honestly think that PL will dig deep to acquire a class striker who will be thrown in at deep end to hopefully redeem current situation.

    I am not NL’s biggest fan. However he can only play the hand he is dealt and in recent months and beyond PL and DD have been dealing from the bottom of the pack.
