    For the life of me why oh why did Samaras hobble of the

     

    park when Forrest headed toward the goal.

     

    JF should have scored.

     

    Samaras must have been in some pain to to have

     

    his own well being more important than maintaining

     

    position then scoring a gilt edged sitter.

    I thought they all looked hestant and tired compared to a tireless, highly motivated opposition. Will be a different game in Glasgow….I hope.

     

     

    Nevertheless our less than seamless summer transition from one team to a new one is bringing its own problems.

    The transfer price for anyone we were looking at just tripled post performance tonight. The trickle down effect could be even worse if the team doesn’t strike back next week.

    I’d question starting with 2 CBs that have never lined up together in a competitive game in one of this importance.

     

     

    Its hard to say what difference a good penalty box striker would have made given our lack of balls into that area.

     

     

    Why did we expect this would be easy? Was it purely because we’d never heard of the before?

     

     

    I think we can score two at home. Not so sure about the clean sheet.

    VVD – 2 See above, but even managed to miss a sitter

    JF – 1 After that performance should never play for us again

    Balde showed signs of urgency when he came on in the change Lenny should’ve made half an hour before

     

     

    Can’t see us getting though it, they’ll pile all their men back, and if they score at Parkhead we’d need 4. I’m worried about 2.

    For those who are saying a striker would have made the difference tonight. We had 2 on the bench but only decided to bring 1 on for a few minutes. I can’t understand Lenny’s reticence in try to change things. Hanging on for a 1-0 defeat (which we were) is poor. I think most here could see the Kazakhs had a chance to score again given the performance of our defence. Attack is the best form of defence – the Celtic way.

    No shape and little understanding at the back. No hunger throughout. We made chances but little conviction up front. We can beat them though 3-0 may be a big ask

    Utter disgrace. Lawell, Lennon and the players have let everyone down. Sold the spine of the team and not replaced. Played with no striker, and shocking defending. If we go out here I want Lawell and Neil Lennon gone. I hope all the people defending our abysmal signing policy are happy.

    I can understand people being upset but some of the comments here are disgraceful. In particular Hun Skelpers, to be honest if that is to be the tone of CQN, I want no part of it. Greatest supporters in the world (as long as we’re winning).

    To be honest Fraser had a great season last year. He was unbeatable at times although I’ve never been fully convinced about him. I don’t think he’s had a great start to the season although he did make a great save from McGinn on Saturday.

     

     

    I’ ve heard he wants away and wonder if his thoughts are on a move. If Benfica are interested in him at £5 million it might be worth considering.

    How bad is McGeough ? Why can he not get a start when JF continually puts in mediocre performances.

    Already Bhoys on here saying we will score 3/4 at CP. who will score the 3/4 goals we need? did you not watch that game today? Head out of the sand bhoys. We are poor and should be better with that squad. The board is only partial to blame. The whole set up and attitude was wrong and that’s not PL’s fault.
