Commons escapes my wrath but that was simply unacceptable from the rest of them. If you cant win a single 50-50 challenge you deserve to lose.
Poor attitude.
I think with the requisite boot up the arse we will get the result. But – they will sit and defend with 2 banks of 5 and we will need to combat that.
I have defended james forrest but he should not have played tonight. And he should sit out the second leg too.

Well, I imagine there will be a lot written on this blog about this game.
For what it’s worth, my thoughts.
1. Tie is NOT over. They are dreadful, a real route-one team. Hearts on a good day.
2. Neil sadly bears the greatest responsibility tonight. Baffling inability to use his substitutes, or to introduce a striker, has cost us at least one goal against a poor poor team. Real question marks over the point of Balde and Stokes…
3. Some players really need to shape up or shift out. Izzy is defensively dreadful, a real weak link. Brown and Ledley never took command, and Forrest is just a wee boy lost in these kind of games.
4. Defense was Seive-like.
5. Our transfer policy? Doesn’t look so clever now. No replacement for Hooper or Wanyama, and the sale of Wilson so early in the window seems ridiculous.
6. MASSIVE night next week at CP. Hope everyone who goes goes to support the manager and team. Clearly, they’ll need all the help they can get…

Celtic fans paid money they probably don’t have to go to Kazakhstan to support a team who were spineless and a manager who was clueless. When the players are travelling back on their double beds maybe they’ll think about the fans who won’t be home for a day or two.
That was an entirely predictable failure, created by our PLC board whose myopia with a dead club means we are unlikely to kick on. 1988, 1998, 2013. Insanity- repeatedly doing the same thing expecting the same result.
No fan should contribute (invest) in the club until the PLC do the same. We have been well beaten by a team who will not get a point in the CL. A team beaten by St Pats Athletic.
UNACCEPTABLE

I am not sure a striker would have made a big difference as you have to give him a supply of chances in order to score how many clear cut chances did we make.We need a settled Centre Back pairing a creative midfielder and a striker to win games in Europe. H.H.

Well I hope the zero debt club strategy supporters are happy.
Plenty complained about the money taken in not being put on the team.
WE ARE OUT barring a miracle at Celtic Park and if you think that team will be any different at Celtic park you’re a dreamer. Their long throws will have us all over the shop again and we are heading into the Europa against a very limited team who know how to play to their strengths.
Stuff all the keep the faith rhetoric – this is a disaster and if you had a pair of eyes you could see it coming.
I kept quiet all through this because I don’t like berating Celtic but the club has let the support down very very badly on this one.
I said for months last season we had the league won we should have had ALL business done by June 30th, instead we’ve farted about, offered less than what teams valued some players at and as a result here we are.
2-0?
It might as well have been 6.
Celtic have no chance of keeping this team out over 90 minutes at Celtic park. We’ll need 4 goals to get through and we have no one capable of delivering them.
Thanks very much to the custodians who saw a team from Boratland and started rubbing their hands for zero debt.
How many bums on seats will turn up to watch SPL dross this season with no striker worthy of the name at the club?
Disgusted and this is not an over-reaction

A truly woeful performance, this time tomorrow night we still would not have scored.
Big, big questions over Lenny’s handling of this match.
We just did not look interested against a very pumped up Shaktar side who are not very good but are very disciplined
Look out for if only KC’s shot had hit gone in,, a tiring journey and all the excuses under the sun but that performance was shameful.
Gate at CP next week will be very interesting. have my ticket but so disgusted by this wonder if it’s worth the added expense of petrol.
Sickened.

Slow pass, slow pass, slow pass, slow pass, slow pass, slow pass (all across the pitch from side to side).
