Every time people panic about pre-season defeats, I remember a few years ago when Man U stuffed us 3-0 at Celtic Park with a team of second string and youth players. Lou Macari was at pains to tell the world that a Man U reserve team had taught Celtic a footballing lesson on their own patch.
Forward 3 months and Celtic defeated Man U 1-0 in the CL, putting us through to the last 16 with a game to spare, and beating the Old Trafford club on the head-to-head.
Good professional performance and a decent result. Well done bhoys.

Watched the game at Center Parcs, Nottingham, delighted with the result, was never in any doubt we would come good. Well done to Cliftonville for a professional performance, the part timers done themselves proud…
Ayrshire is Green and White.. well it was when I left it on Monday..!
Thought that was very diplomatic of you :)) I’d have described it as the look of a Sevco fan stuck in Celtic Wonderland :) Would Stuart Cosgrove do us all a favour and take that job off him? He’s about as watchable as paint dries in a live football match. Terrible.

Stephbhoy,
Have you ever played fitba?
As a professional and someone NFL believes will replace Vic67, do you really want that guy to be someone who gets himself booked in the 88th minute of a game and tie already won but may need your services, for the team at a later date, when you are winning 3-0?

good start to the season , not kept up with news but can imagine MSM predicting more armagedon with pre season results…….
Would be interesting to see how the bearded Sammy fares against the clean shaven one…
The clean shaven one has more agility in the air due to aerodynamics. The beared Sammi can turn with his back to goal, and stick it in the top of the net.
We need a stubbley Sammy – doesn’t sound good, but…..by Jove,….”Designer Stubble Sammy” will be knocking them in the back of the net more quickly than any of us can say “Pantene Pro G”.

Good to see a fit James Forrest back doing what he does best. Looked like the player he was before last season’s injury plagued one. When he got the ball his first thought seemed to be drive forward and put defenders under pressure. Crosses and cut backs were into dangerous areas and he took his goal well.

Didn’t Wanyama get sent-off in similar circumstances in the Champions League qualifiers last season?

Yes mate, I posted on Tuesday morning. Got the test results. All good. Cancer confined to prostate, so will now face surgery to remove the prostate, which gives me an excellent chance of a full recovery.
Never post during a game cos your analysis is woeful.
Brilliant second half from Kayal. No bad performances.

It was a harsh booking. .. even the hun commentator thought the Cliftonville striker was the recipient of the yellow card
But… both wanyama and kayal have a history of rash tackles and resultant suspensions … eg sfa cup semi final

Starry plough, you failed to mention that some bloke called Bangura got on the scoresheet for Elfsborg. Perhaps we should sign him?! ;o)

Sssssssssuuuuussssshhhhhhhhhhhh!!
Fraser’s ex wins the apprentice!
Wilson played well tonight – I guess the Laptop Loyal will have him heading out the door in the next few days.
That will give the Celtic fans who read the Daily Record something to phone them up and complain about.
Good night for the Hoops and also for excellent CQNer, Mr Z as Legia win 3-1 away. :-)

Agreed re.Davie White.
Hard to compete against big Jock in his prime.
Got a raw deal from the hun as did Scot Symon before him.
