Really pleased the Scottish Professional Football League have awarded the League Cup Final to Scotland’s largest football stadium, Celtic Park. We are now hosting the League and Scottish Cup finals, as well as the head of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.
So with the Commonwealth and Scottish Cup gigs going to Celtic, why didn’t Newco Rangers get the other final at their 50,000 capacity facility?
Back in the days such certification existed, Ibrox was a Uefa five star venue, whereas Celtic Park was four star, but maintaining those standards takes, well, maintenance, which has not been a priority in some parts. Celtic Park remains highly functional, and safe.
There is also the hazard of planning an event, even six weeks out, at a venue owned (cough) by a company which does not have bank credit facilities and who are broadcasting financial distress signals like some kind of insolvency Batman call.
These perfectly valid reasons are, of course, a mere distraction from the real reason, the Co-op Bank, which controls Glasgow City Council, is also able to manipulate league football in Scotland and decided to award the final to their partner organisation, while cutting their borrowing rate, by way of compensation.

You are correct in terms of the language/phrases used with the abuse Pat received. If you use the net and visit footballing sites you should be more than familiar with their use and who uses them they are not used by any Celtic Supporters I know. “MACHIAVELLIAN” now there is a word.

Procreation is what a marriage is defined by nature as being, because individual hetero couples cant procreat or choose not to does not invalidate their marriage because collectively that type of relationship can produce children thus each nonprocreating union is still marriage, gay people can sadly not yet procreate with their partner naturally therefore it is not marriage but civil partnership they enjoy what ever we fool ourselves into calling it as a society. No one is saying its sexist against men to say that fat men are in fact fat, not pregnant, yet we have to redefine a word because of peoples feelings? Humans don’t get to define what is black and white, white is the colour white no matter if we call it green or not. And if u really push me id say gay sex is a sin, but then so is many practices we all indulge in (and sin does not mean immoral, or evil, just “transgression”) and these most trivial of matters will not send one to hell or anything close to it but if someone is striving for perfection they would not only treat people nicely, the most important thing, but also would not have sex before marriage or have sex with a gay partner even though these latter things are at the very bottom of the list of things to do when striving for perfection as treating people nicely is the hardest and most important one to achieve by far.
I had a friend who was gay who was loyally protestant, he had a boyfriend, and he boycotted sex as that was the interpretation he had of the bible, and what his father had taught him because they where true to the core points in the bible which are the ten commandments and treat others would have treated but also as st pauls gospel rights it is not right for gay sex, we cannot understand why god would prohibit loving sex between 2 monogmous adults but we are not god. I think the key is this, once humanity evolves sexually to where it is natural for gay people to be able to procreate with their partner without scientific inventions, at that point that is when god is giving us the green light to call it marriage, not before, till then it remains a valid but different institution that what marriage is.
Right now u just have a lot of brainwashed people calling a loving civil partnership “marriage”, when the capacity of a relationship type to have the potential generically to produce children is what nature defines marriage even if one individual couple is unwilling or unable to produce, generically no homosexual cis gendered relationship can yet produce children naturally with their partner, and this to me is a shame but nature has not yet let the partnerships produce offspring and its a shame, so their is no herd immunity unlike straight non procreative marriages where other people basically have children for them on their behalf.
People will say being gay is not a choice and they are correct, people will then say that acting on your feelings beyond just kissing and holding hands with your partner is inevitable which is clearly wrong as as I showed a real life gay person was able to be celibate. If it where me making the rules I wouldnt ask that of gay people in loving relationship but then im just a man and men try not to offend people or cause them harm but what if some gay ‘people are miserable because they are having sex and they don’t know why? Surely they should be allowed to try celibacy, only no one is even allowed to advocate that in order to improve the quality and intensiveness of gay loving relationships because we live in big brother 1984 hell. Heck even saying we shouldnt give heroin addicts heroin is now controversial so trying to help benign loving people to try a different way of showing their love for each other is most definitely going to bring out hatred from the people who have been brain washed with a masonic one sided version of “tolerance” saying something is a sin is not an attempt to ban it or even stigmatize it but rather just stating an ideal, impossible for humans to obtain morality, that some folk cant accept an ideal says more about the level to which they have swallowed humanist masonic propaganda and the level to which they hate the catholic church.
I guess it makes sense that a minority community will often even become victimized by people who never had the faith to stick with faith and instead decided to believe humans could define anything as being anything inspite of self apparent truths and the worry is simple that if we can make a benign thing like foolishly calling gay civil partnerships gay marriage accepted by so many then the people running the show can make people think any thing they want us to think, all they have to do is convince us that we are violating oh I dont know “adolescents rights”, “murders right to do what they want with their own body” it sounds absurd now but then years ago the confusion over the benign but misguided word gay marriage would have seemed preposterous to those people living in the 1940’s.

Collectively no gay people can have kids naturally with their partner, that is a shame but until we physically evolve for that to be possible a gay union will forever be a partnership not a mariage once one single gay couple can procreate with their partner naturally all other gay couples will get automatic herd immunity even if they are unable to do likewise as that one couple who procreated or unwilling. That’s equality for u, herd immunity extends to both gays and straights once a single gay couple can biologically naturally make kids, just like many heterosexuals marriages is protected via herd immunity. I do actually hope that evolution like that naturally happens for them, and that it comes soon. Then we would disagree about nothing. But it will take at least a hundred years for humans to naturally develop such new reproductive capacities. Till then will passionatley support the love between 2 gay folk but not use the masonic indoctrination of calling it “marriage”. You may think Christianity is bull shit. You will find out one way or other when u die. Usually love anything BRTH writes (his storytelling blog Strandsky really is sublime) but I think he is a far better storyteller than interviewer.
I thought Nevin didn’t really say much of interest in the interview and had an easy ride for most of it.
I wasn’t there so it is easy for me to say that but I don’t think PN revealed much we didn’t already know.
I feel no sympathy for the guy,probably due to his work on Chelski TV,but the thing that bugs me most about him is his contrived personna as an intellectual ex footballer.
