At the risk of commenting on Roy Keane when few of us know much about what happened last night…. I remain pleased we didn’t appoint him manager in the summer. Very pleased.
Really disappointed at the outcome of the Fifa investigation into the awarding of the Fifa World Cups for 2018 1nd 2022, although, as I type that sentence, the reasons perhaps become clear. As with all of these things, I’m specifically thinking about the Lord Nimmo Smith SPL inquiry here, football governing bodies ask the questions they want answered. It’s not the independence of the investigator which is important, it’s who sets the scope of investigation.

That’s unconscionable.
I’m watching the game in the Brazen. Its going to be a bit surreal I think, with most of the locals supporting Scotland. I expect the pub to be heaving with Irish and god knows how they’ll all get in, it’ll be queued round the block. A magic atmosphere guaranteed.

Even if that Burton’s t-shirt had been produced by one of the Celtic-themed t-shirt designers it would have been in fairly bad taste. But what were they thinking as a high street store?
Ignore the “deidyins” for a second and imagine they had put skulls on an iconic Celtic team photo from that period and basically said they were playing football in hell. How would we react?
I don’t mind taunting the zombies themselves (they deserve it) but that t-shirt is dreadful.

Sod it,I’m buying one of those t-shirts tomorrow. Still haven’t replenished my wardrobe since I binned my Firetrap gear…

haahhahah.
i clicked on the vale of level website, top find it is the deady bears , its a good old picture, you can tell the rowers, were find upstanding , well sitting doon, men, with fine prostantic names.
is it fare to blame these gallent pioneers for the bigotory that ended up engulfing their club
did they really set out to have an exclusive protestant identity ? were they any irish from the start ? the early games with celtic and the glee clubs that followed the football matches would suggest not.
i was going to give them a few skull and zombie names to add to the picture, but today i am in a reflective wee mood and cant be bothered.
their old club died chasing a dream to surpass the greatest celtic acheivements.
they forget the founding principles of their gallent poineers,
their new club had a proper chance to start a club that behave properly,
instead, well you know it.
