Financial Fair Play, Winding Up Orders, new CQN Magazine

868

Scottish clubs are now subject to Uefa Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations which insist club’s pay creditors in a timely manner or become subject to sanctions.  These pesky rules should prevent debts reaching a maturity of more than six months old and becoming subject of a Winding-up Order.  I am sure old Heavily Conflicted, also known as the SFA president, will have sprung into action on hearing recent news.

The Rangers yesterday issued a short statement following Channel 4’s story that Orlit Enterprise threatened a Winding-Up Order, insisting, “Rangers Football Club is capable of meeting any debts presented legitimately and we would like to stress to our supporters there is no threat to the Club whatsoever”.  They really need to stay on-message… football clubs are never threatened; it’s only the Company which can be liquidated!  Apparently.

I hear Charles Green is on an international bucket collection, Dubai and then onto Australia.  Meanwhile, it is crucial no one disturbs his important work.  When you think of the people who could have taken ownership of Ibrox last year, he has been absolutely perfect.

On other matters……..

The new edition of CQN Magazine is out and available for your consumption.  Written by and for Celtic fans, it is another Celtic joy!

I’m also delighted to report we have been seriously diss’ed by the Italians ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League game. Notes for the dressing room wall coming up soon!

Charles Green also claimed that Steven Naismith actually signed for West Ham before switching to Everton….

  2. I believe that Underworld has won the contract to supply The Rangers’ kit. Owner, Carla Connor, 38, of Weatherfield, is said to be ‘over the moon’.

I’m convinced Chuckles is only using Sevco as a round the world free holiday where he goes around spouting fantasies and lies to the locals, while being paid by the club. Incredible nonsense coming out from the Perth Q & A.

Rangers have bought back the Albion Car Park for £1.4m. Lloyds have made £1 million on the money they bought it from Murray for.

  6. A friend I made on Celtic Quick News, a man I haven’t met yet has just sorted me with 2 Tickets for the Juventus game next Tuesday. I don’t want to name him in case he doesn’t want to be named, I have of course thanked him privately but I want to publicly acknowledge what he has done for a stranger just because I’m a fellow Tim. I’m looking forward to meeting him and a host of other CQN Legends at a pre match meal in Glasgow next Tuesday. I’m so glad I found this wonderful site, Thank you pal and thank you Paul67.

According to Scotzine, Chuckles has claimed it was a gentlemans agreement with Orlit and if they want to try a winding up order they should go ahead ! lol

15% interest on an £8.5 million loan to sevco , a £360k a year pay packet , all expenses paid and over 5 million shares for a penny now valued at about 80p.

Not a bad gig for chuckles,

    Henriks somb…,

Sort of looks like he doesn’t see himself in position by the time any such tie happened, in fact the drivel he is spouting looks like he is distracting everyone whilst his financial crew are hiving off everything they can, a bit like Whyte, maybe even a lot like Whyte :o)

Something mooted before on here, maybe trying to dissolve Tinkerbell FC before Rangers FC to stop BDO getting the assets.

  10. The Arsenal shares scam by Craigy bhoy always makes me laugh.Wee Dawell was on talksport telling the story in tears, priceless.

Will the car park play in defence so that Walter can advise Ally to park the bus in it?

But how much did David Murray pay for it when he “bought” it from er Rangers FC?

  14. For some reason whenever I read or hear the words “The Albion Car Park”, especially from the mouths of the likes of BFDJ or Smith (must score), I can’t help but smile.

    I can’t explain this.

He bought the assets of RFC changed it to TRFC, then changed it

    to RIFC almost immediately,

If BDO come after anything to do with RFC or TRFC ,Green can say NOTHING TO DO WITH ME MISTER :)).

    Nearly!

He bought the assets with the new company SEVCO 5088.

He then transferred the assets to another new company, SEVCO SCOTLAND LTD, which he later renamed THE RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB LTD.

He then created another new company called RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB PLC, which he later renamed, RANGERS INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL CLUB PLC.

RIFCplc are the holding company for RFC Ltd.

The shares for the ‘club’, I think, were for the RIFCplc.

Hope that makes things a lot clearer!!

  17. I,m sure I read somewhere last year that for Craig Whyte to have anything to do with the carcass of RFC,Any new entity had to be twice removed from origanal company.

  19. Corkcelt. Some of us know already. He is some man. You will enjoy his company as well as many others. This is why we are who we are. I met the famous Awe Naw in Munich last night. Contrary to what many believe, he us first class.

More detailed minutes of the Perth meeting with CG

    1. Sponsorship deal and new kit maker pretty much signed up TODAY, holding off for announcement as the sponsors and kit makers obviously want a big impact statement and not some leaked pi5h

    2. Rangers BUYING back the Arsenal shares and also going to play Arsenal in a pre-season friendly (which will probably cover the costs anyway)

    3. Rangers to play Linfield in a friendly soon (Linfield can cancel a league game) as a thank you for when they helped us out

    4. Stadium will be renamed, 2 potential sponsors, once the winner is confirmed the fans will have a chance to get involved in the renaming, which will obviously have to include the name Ibrox. The sponsors do not want to be involved in a scheme that may ALIENATE the fans/customers so they have agreed to work with the fans.

    5. Green is still taking players like Allan McGregor etc to court to sue for breach of contract

    6. Naismith actually signed for West Ham before switching to Everton

    7. McCoist still has his backing, he said that any man who has endured what McCoist has over the past year deserves loyalty, what the future plans involve is perhaps getting some better people around McCoist, I read it as meaning some better backroom staff

    8. Rangers media is going to go full throttle, new APPS for phones allowing you to watch games for £1 etc and the radio phone in to talk direct with Green and McCoist etc

    9. We bought back the Albion Car Park for £1.4m after Murray sold it to Lloyds for £400,000. Apparently we can make around £400,000 per year on it (or was it £150k?), we had a lease with Lloys which would have meant giving them around £4m until the end of the lease, but Green persuaded them as he threatened to ask the fans to boycott

    10. The cross league thing was discussed in depth, with the legal precendent of the Dutch and Belgium womans league setting the example. The club are actively persuing this to try and get to England.
