FORMER Celtic frontman Carlton Cole is facing the sack from Indonesian club Persib.
The 33-year-old striker, who was released by Brendan Rodgers last summer after scoring once in five appearances in his brief stint at the Hoops, is heading for the boot.
Ex-England international Cole joined Persib in March, but has failed to net a solitary goal and has not impressed manager Umuh Muchtar.
The frustrated boss said: “It’s the management’s job to dismiss him.
“He plays very badly compared to the other foreign players who have joined Persib.”
The former Chelsea and West Ham attacker agreed a one-year deal with the team which is owned by Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir, who is also president of Italian giants Inter Milan.
