  1. Zenit / Roberto Mancini .

One more -” I would never exclude it ” comment from Roberto Mancini in response to a question re the rumours that he will be the next Manager of Italy..

Fairly serious media outlets have him having agreed to have a meeting with some of the relevant suits on Wednesday 14th February . One day before they play Celtic in Glasgow .

  2. GRAMMAR !!

one day before Zenit play Celtic in Glasgow . The relevant suits will not be playing !!!

My choice would be Walter and his young aspiring/inspiring apprentice.

They can cap all the young Ibrox stars and ensure their value rockets.

  4. 50 shades of green on

My thoughts on the man with no surname and the Scotland job.

He doesn’t stand a chance of getting it, some other guy will, probably a combo of The fat gardener, the bothwell gansta or the useless ginger twat that’s been linked with every job going in the last 4yrs, and they will then tell us that twatttie smif will be a mentor for them. Anything to get money to pay their debts to HM gov.

How long before ‘Walter’ and big Feck are referred to as a ‘dream team’ by the DR

It’s a marker for the “depth of vision” and acumen at the SFA and I mean the committee guys not the administrators.

  7. CultsBhoy- Last of the famous international PlayBhoys on

    Walter doesn’t want the job.

    A total non story.

Even if he did he wouldn’t get it.

My bet is Malky and Scott Gemmil

  8. The National Team ?

“All the angst ridden weeping and wailing re the fate of a National Team administered by a corrupt geriatric and ” managed ” by a clueless buffoon would be far better directed at the population of a country who allow such things to happen ” .

La Repubblica after ” the absolute disgrace ” that was losing to Sweden .

Italy- but might as well be Scotland

Steve Clarke would have to be in contention, recency effect notwithstanding he has a good coaching profile, if they’re considering a guy who has been out of the game for 7 years? No doubt they’ll try and sell it as the Heynckes effect.

  10. That’s just the malodorous Rectum having a guid laff………. ( at us, again).

Scoddland treats the Auld Indulged Ned like some kind of footballing Frank Sinatra.

He wont be considered for the role, he probbably neither needs nor wants it…and anyway his favouirite daily will trumpet him as some kind of special counsel. That’ll be enough to wax his waning ego.

I wouldn’t rule out one of his preferred minions getting the grip from some over-promoted booler tho’.

My money’s on The Haircut That Time Forgot.

Although they’ll likely give it to The Cat In The Hat.

Is that the lowest winning points in the history of a 38 game season ?

If it is,I think it is,it is really acceptable?

I don’t know what’s wrong,I find it difficult to criticise individual players,I find it difficult to criticise the management team,I even find it difficult to criticise the board as they have certainly spent-though whether wisely or as suggested by BR we will never know.

But something is wrong. Our win ratio is far below what our squad should be achieving.

And I don’t think we should ignore that.

A recent manager was hounded for a better record, btw.

  12. I’ve just made myself available for the Scotland job…

    …a Bentley continental…

    Sfa…?

It will require a lot of giving up by I significant blazer types to sort that mess out.

Committee structure overhaul. A proper decision making CEO installed. A chairman with sole responsibility for Governance.

Amalgamation of all football (including referees, SYFA. Spfl) authorities under a single organisation.

A massive reduction in pro youth and possibly even senior clubs,

No short term fix for current position.

The biggest challenge will be re engaging the public. I’ve never bothered much with national team but always wondered at the blind loyalty of Tartan Army. Now you hear they are chucking it. It doesn’t augur well.

We’ve finished on less than 88 points in a 38 game season on 5 previous occasions, the last being Ronny’s final season (86 points). The lowest points total was 79 (Lennon’s second title season).

  15. Steve Clarke propably,a future manager ,at Celtic,as for the Scotland Manager,2 Scottish men ,and still relatively young, Tommy McIntyre, and John Hughes, not people with previous Sevco connections, also need to start afresh within the S F A.
