Having come through a tortuous December, Celtic will have the opportunity to regain momentum with six of their next seven games at home. The only away match in the series a return to McDiarmid Park, where they inflicted a 0-6 defeat on St Johnstone earlier this season.
Sixth placed St Johnstone are the highest-ranking domestic team they face on that run, who Celtic also play at home on 30 January, before facing Valencia at Celtic Park on Valentine’s Day.
Forthcoming games against Airdrie in the Scottish Cup, then St Mirren and Hamilton in the league, will give Brendan Rodgers an opportunity to give Timothy Weah and Vakoun Issouf Bayo some game time. We have time to prepare for the big game on Valentine’s.

Kenny Clark on Shortbread, Operation Cover Up and blame Celtic incoming….
I believe we’re more likely to secure the services of the Toures’ distant Scottish cousin Hee Haw Toure.
New year, same old shortbread.
McFadden – “Rangers” have forced Celtic into action.
Errrr. Yeah. Sure…..
Then the Strong Rangers Association mouthpiece trashes Burke!
Nah, everybody knows that Ya -Ya’s Scottish cousins is.
…Haw-Yoo………….
Aye.
In terms of Toures I still believe we are much more likely to get Hee Haw……………………. if you know what I mean. : )
Is it just me or has McKenna become a better player since the shutdown in the eyes of some Celtic fans?
In terms of Wanyama, Neil Lennon reckoned that his eventual position was as a Centre Back
Might Victor be Boyatas replacement?
Is the boul’ Kenny on the Level?

Don’t know why people listen to shortbread or snyde – they are always on the level – level 5

If you apply SFA’s probability rule then YES
But as that’s only wheeled out against us then NO
And it’s an insult to question his or any of the brothers integrity

Peter’s secretary can’t be doing a good job if they are letting out secrets(for the Latin lovers, academically that is?)
On McKenna; I think he has had a bad rap based on his robust role for the Sheep.
In Scotland games, he has been great stepping out of defence to snuff out attacks and get us on the front foot, especially when Robertson is up the pitch.

Wiki says that Lirim Kastrati is 5′ 5″ tall & is a defender.
(Yes I admit that I spent some time trying to figure out the wordplay trick on his name)
Unless he has the skills of Messi, the speed of Didier Agathe & the tackling ability of Broonie….

Michael Stewart fighting losing battle against Daryl of the missing sentence, Kenny the blue nose & McFadden who is making a media career from sitting on the fence. Aff button pressed.
Daryl joins Trump & Rees Mogg on the list where I would pay good cash to boot their baws .
There’s a rumour going round that we are trying to sign players rather than trying to start rumours.
FRANKMARKER @ 5:34 PM,
Reserve Team Coach – Damien Duff
Under 18s Coach – Stephen McManus
Awesome news, some real quality and experience being brought in to Lennoxtown…
Damien Duff was a superb footballer and it’s great to see Stephen McManus back at his Club… a Captian that knows what it means to be Celtic… he will enthuse!!
Meet Joel Garner once, a colossus of a man…
What a team those Windies were…
Hail Hail
has Kenny Clark never heard of Dougie McDonald?

I will be in Antigua (home of VR and Curtly Ambrose) in a few weeks … last time I was there, I saw some kids playing cricket … hoping to see some when I am back down
Generally… is anyone else concerned that Duff and McManus have signed? I can see a last minute deal for Boyata (like Dembele), but we will be too late to bring in a replacement (again like Dembele) … but, hold on a minute, SMcM can fill in in a pinch?!
:)
I see the Scotsman ( new now) saying
Porto back in for Olivier NtCham ????
Angel G- made me laugh there…
Micah Richards has been a free agent since last summer?
Reportedly Struggling with a knee injury

Have been looking at Antigua for October
Hopefully Stephen McManus ,can get Barrowfield Training Ground up graded, new Changing Rooms a couple of stands, for fans wanting to see up and coming youths, and a couple of catering facilities,I would reckon a lot of Celtic Fans would pay a couple of pounds to see the youths,
Norrie
How are you doing mate?
I took mum to Antigua last year, and had such a nice time, I decided to go back.
Two things re: Antigua:
1. I dont think there is as much to do as, say, St. Lucia (which, I think, you liked), and
2. You need to watch … depending on when and where you go, there can be a real problem with sargassum seaweed infestation (one of the largest resorts closed for a few months last summer because of the problem))
…and you dare to call me a pessimist!?
Hail Hail

Just an opinion but I think John James is an impostor.
Through the recent years he’s picked up plenty of info from this blog . Respected posters such as TBB & Auldheid have had posts almost copied .
He once had a blog regarding a family from the town I live in . The old father is a Loyalist who was involved in the troubles. Not a good yin , what troubled me though, was mentioning his sons . I don’t know the oldest, but have been on trips to the racing in Perth with his youngest.
John James basically said his sons were following in the old yin’s footsteps.
I posted a comment stating that for a boy that runs around with Tims ,and shows none of the fathers traits , that he was at best ,making it up, on the strength of his fathers past .
My comment was never printed.
His stuff on the McCanns was horrible.
Not my kind of blog Turkeybhoy , but everyone to their own . HH
Porto are expected to make a renewed bid for Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham, after failing to sign the France Under-21 cap last summer, according to reports in Portugal.
O Jogo are reporting that the Dragons will attempt to lure Ntcham to the Estadio do Dragao with a number of departures leaving vacancies in the midfield.
However, if Celtic again rebuff Porto’s approach, the Portuguese side are expected to have a third shot in the summer.
As Norrie said above….
Good deflection from shortbread. Focusing on the letter of the law about red cards rather than address the failure of Beaton to show yellows and what should happen to a ref who has shown himself to be completely inept.
On N’Cham, take the money and spend it on someone that want to be a Celtic player.
For those who like a punt…….
Auchinleck are 9/1 at home to Ayr on Saturday in the Scottish cup.
Way overpriced.
