Although Rangers won their case at the Court of Session today, they have the option not to serve the ruling on the SFA that its Judicial Panel’s 12 month ban on player registration is illegal. Winning the point in law might sound like a victory, but taking the Association to court breaks membership rules of the SFA, rules imposed on all associations by Fifa.
We will find out soon enough the reach of SFA president, Campbell Ogilvie, who was one of the recipients of an EBT which precipitated Rangers crisis.
Rangers are deep in Sion territory now. Either they walk away from this showdown, the SFA expel or suspend them from football, or Fifa will shortly remind the SFA of their duties when a member club takes action in the civil courts.
Campbell Ogilvie was born for this moment; it justifies him holding onto his position all these months despite being “heavily conflicted”, according to his chief executive. I do not expect this to end well.
Despite an independent judicial panel ruling against Rangers, there is no way the office holders at the SFA will expel Rangers, no matter what they do. They would rather jeopardise the Scotland national team and every other club’s European participation.

Each time Paul posts a new article I hope upon hope. This is the one. This is the news we have waited for. Time to dig out the jelly and ice cream.
It’s never quite that post though. Will it ever be? Who really knows?
Each time Paul posts an upbeat article, proclaiming that the huns are as good as dead I am bouyed and optimistic and chastise myself for doubting that the forces of good could ever fail.Stupid stupid, how could I fall for the obsfucation and spin by the MSM, Bluff and Bluffer etc. Paul67 knows something we don’t. Nae worries.
Then I’ll read another article or reply that confirms what the real (been around a bit) me has come to expect. The huns will somehow escape all this and come out debt free, history intact and triumphalist as ever.
My position as to how Celtic deal with and react to all of this also varies.
At times, I am in the camp of no compromise, if the huns are within a mile of top flight football that is me finished with the Scottish game forever. Work on my golf. Watch whatever talent contest Mrs SIALF watches. If Celtic take part in this charade they are complicit in the cartel that is RFC/SFA/SPL.
Then a couple of hours later having read some well aregued points, I fell , why should Celtic and I suffer for the misdeeds of these corrupt shameless nomarks. Makes it all the sweeter beating them and lets face it , it’s gonna be pretty easy beating them fopr the next few years……or is it. See. There I go again. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO THINK ANYMORE.

I lived in a place called Avonbridge once upon a time, just up the road from sheildhill, blackridge,slamannan, real hun land.
now I wouldn’t say it was ant worse than many other places I have lived, but it was not the best.
Denny, Bonnybridge would be reasonable hun free in comparison to the above mentioned places, Croy, more so, carfin, no se.
