Overwhelming benefits of being organised

635

St Mirren’s late goal at Ibrox yesterday was as welcome as it was unexpected, but it means little for us.  It was only the fourth league goal Rangers have conceded all season and Celtic almost conceded a fourth goal in the final minutes against Kilmarnock.  Four goals conceded in 11 games is championship winning form.

Rangers are certainly not a European-standard team at the moment but they are overwhelmingly organised.

We’re in trouble.

I remember he gave me the original “Jesus Christ Superstar” album and Deep Purple’s “Fireball” album way back around 1971

I knew him very well, he said the masses for both my parents funerals and I’m sure that my mother’s funeral in 1988 was not long before his passing

    Passionate guy indeed

You will have great fun with that wee lad …I was dragged up to Ballerup (East Kilbride for you guys who are from a warmer climate) today at 5 to “practice” by my 7 year old today and it was great. So, hope you enjoy your first venture into parenthood.

I knew of a Fr. Connolly in St. Cadock’s in Halfway, i think he was involved in the press office. Very opinionated but very articulate and passionate too.

Not sure, but that looks like ‘fantastic new hair’ to me, so that would surely do.

  12. Hi all,

just finished another long shift (well not actually finished but person I am looking after is in bed and I will be soon).

Not had time to read back apart from this page (p5).

Dont have anything to contribute to discussion about priests, so just thought I’d say hello. Hope we haven’t been tearing ourselves apart, just off to read the other pages and find out.

    Hail Hail.

  15. Robert, if it’s the Father Tom Connolly I’m thinking of then he died a couple of years ago. We done his funeral.

Some posters were dicussing parish priests earlier I asked if anyone had ever encountered a Fr. Connolly

He spent a lot of time round in Scotia St.

My sister ran the choir, My mother was part of the UCM and my aul fella done all the gold leaf work in the church

He was the only person I ever heard call my dad “Bob”

  19. Terrible crash at the Indy race in Vegas.

Dario has won the championship again as Will Power’s car was banged up, but inder a cloud…..such a shame after a great season between the top two.

Not Australia’s day…..loss v All Blacks, loss v South Africa at Cricket and now Will Power losing out in Indy…..

A good day for Scotland with Murray, Dario and even Tynes kicking well for the Giants vs MON’s beloved Bills.
