    Dallas,

I saw your post last night about the JBE print room, were the good guys Bradley and Bell by any chance?

    Delaneys Dunky,

Hope that you’re enjoying your day, my family were in the Hibees crowd supporting John McGinn si it will be a quiet night for them

My Godson and John McGinn are pals. Both Saint Peter The Apostle Clydebank former pupils. That pitch today was full of Tims. :-)

  3. For the ghuys coming over there are brilliant Green & White Easter Rising, scarves for sale on the street stalls. I made my pilgrimage this week as I can’t make it up on Easter Saturday. Got to Kilmainham Gaol also got to meet Gerry Adams & Mary Lou McDonald.

90th minute of today’s match Alex shalk scores and removes his shirt.. That’s a yellow card no matter the circumstances ( even when you score your 50th goal ) .

He then runs off the field of play and into the fans. . That’s also a yellow card under any circumstances ( too numerous to count them but kc at Inverness a couple of seasons ago )

So why only one yellow card for Faulk

  5. H.T.

Gosh, going to Dublin must have put you in a great frame of mind. Praising one of my posts.

Usually you are saying you will use them for remedial work for the P5s.

    Hail Hail my friend.

    Gerry

Worse was the fact that wee cheating Bassa scored the winner after diving for a pen against us then fouling our keeper at their second .

  9. Catching up earlier I noticed a number of posts criticising Ronny’s team selection yesterday particularly the inclusion of Commons.

Admittedly I’m a big fan of him and he’d be in my team every week but I was bemused by the criticism.

He wasn’t great yesterday but for the first time in a while we threatened from corners. Commons was taking them.

  10. H.T.

My boss lurks, you will have made his night, he loves it when you post that.

Come on J.H. the Pioneer, stop lurking and give us a post on your thoughts on Ronny.

Hello again all you young rebels.

Decided not to post for a while after the res 12 revelations just

in case i posted in anger and regretted it, i hoped that the board

would come out with a plausible excuse for their inaction, but it

looks like what we probably all suspected, they’ve shafted us.

We should have realised that when a galoot like Bankier tells

people to behave their selves, people who have given their all to

support and save the club with their commitment, time, and in

some cases their life savings to buy shares, its like a dagger to the

    heart.

I console myself with the fact that they are not the Celtic, its us the

fans we are the Celtic, our wee rebel town was mobbed yesterday

our club packed mostly with Aussies who wanted to spend their

day with the bhoys because they love our ethos, the work our club

do on their communities behalf, and they relate to our rebel spirit

which they probably identify with their ancestors a lot of whom

came to Oz in the prison ships, so that spineless pack of jackals

don’t possess the same ideals as us, the team is our representatives

on the park but its us,the fans we will always be the Celtic and that

load of charlatans hopefully will soon be gone.

  13. Scrolled back and some posters were talking about Hibs fans having a union flag in their club colours today…..anybody on here ever remember the 2 union flags in green white and gold which used to hang side by side up at the back of the CELTIC end in the old stadium…….the police decided to have a go one night to remove them to the annoyance of some fans, who faced up to them….order was restored and the flags were a feature for most games after that……..nae GB in them days….. or stick yir effin cameras up your arse.

  14. JNP

The paranoia is the most truthful aspect of our game….

The less you post, it gives more eijits like me blog time, hope all is well and the wee mhan is still as green and white as us eijits

Back on our team. I love Kris Commons, probably kicked a ball with a few Kris Commons’s… I would have him in my team……special mention for Callum McGregor….. Wee man keep doing what you are doing

  16. Just watched the Thistle pen again……it’s always a man’s gemme up here ,goat the baw first ,contact sport blah de fekn blah. Unless it’s a Celt making the tackle…if ye raise yir hands etc that was a shocking decision yesterday,we’ve seen it all before.

  17. That penalty decision really was awful. Not one Thistle player even thought about claiming for it.

  18. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Antipodean red, it certainly was messrs Bell and Bradley. Two guys who I really liked and enjoyed working with them.

I bumped into Pat about twenty years ago. It was him who told me how beelin the huns we worked with were with me.

    Jimmynotpaul and Hamiltontim, thanks.

  19. VP

I couldn’t believe it was given. Technically, it was a penalty but when was the last time in any game, in any country did you see a referee give a penalty in a situation where not one of the attacking team claimed for it?

    Impeccable timing.

I’m listening to Blue Oyster Cult/ (Don’t Fear) The Reaper on my I.Pod.

No doubt someone will complain about a non Celtic post.

    Right, night all.

    Enjoy and have fun.

  24. Gerryfaethebrig on

Am hitting ma kip……I have read on here about Res12…. By the way normal Celtic punters know heehaw about it, I am 45, are there any older punters on here that actually liked any Celtic board ? I grew up and can only remember my father hating the Kellys’ and the Whites’

Sometimes the more things change the more they stay the same…..

Well apart far the Huns liquidation (that’s company death for any journos reading)

  25. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

    Melbourne Mick, well said .

As Paul McStay so eloquently said Celtic Football club is the support.

Since Tommy passed away , he is sorely missed, first and foremost by his family, but by our support. He was the last person the fans felt connected with . There was a connection btween the support and Neil but not in the same way we had with Tommy.

Tommy and the late Sean Fallon were, to me, the epitome of what Celtic is all about.
