We picked up a couple of injuries early doors and I think Victor dropped to centre half with Jackson and Tommy rogic holding midfield. Tontine Tim / Voguepunter,
I have a great Celtic pal who worked for 10 years at the SFA. His role was co-ordinating the educational welfare of youth signings…,liasing with their clubs and schools & colleges, making sure they had classes organised and more importantly that these players attended and sat exams.
He took my own bhoy on a works experience week, which was a massive thrill for him, meeting players and coaches etc, including at Celtic.
One of his Celtic ‘students’ played a big part in today’s game……Michael Gardyne.
Anyway, he told me that when phoning Celtic Park, he would occasionally get put through to an internal number, answered by John Clark. John would answer the phone by saying this:
“John Clark, Lisbon Lion”
Which is quite magnificent.

Delaneys….St Thomas Aquinas was a hard game at my age group too , but Clydebank High were my year’s big rivals but thankfully we won more than we lost to them over the years.
Sorry , didn’t mean to make your sis cry, but all kidding aside you will all be obviously so proud of him making it this far , and the danger with a lot of boys is that they think they’ve made it when they get to this level…(some think they’ve made it when they start getting paid , never mind playing a first team game). In Jim , he has a manager who will recognise this , and that’s why I say Chris has landed lucky. The fact they come from similar backgrounds and the same area will help , as I know Jim will keep an eye out for him. I watched the game today with my Dad and brother , and we were all proud of Jim and delighted for him.
Young Chris was a far more talented youngster than his manager (don’t tell him that) but if he can take on the attitude and commitment he’ll go far.
I’m a guy who was always delighted to see the guys I played with make a career in the game , and lots of them did. I’m the same as a Dad and like to look out for the boys at my sons age who had a chance. Chris making his debut at Ross County , was great to see , as was young Greg Docherty who has played a lot of games for Hamilton this season.

12 and a bit years ago my daughter managed to persuade Celtic to let her do her work experience at Celtic park.
John really looked after her and made sure she was spoiled rotten. It was an international week so most of the players and manager at the time Martin O’Neill were away most of the week. However Lenny and Henrik were both there. He sorted it for her to have lunch with them, Lenny ordered KFCs but he told my daughter under no circumstances was she ever to tell Martin O’Neill what they had ordered. I think that tells you have Martin ruled the roost. On the Thursday Martin returned, seemingly not in the best frame of mind, again Mr Clark looked after her and said it would be best to go to the Celtic shop, out of the way for a bit. My 40 th birthday was coming up so John Clark got all the players to sign a card for me as a surprise and finally my daughter’s favourite,by a long way,was Shaun Maloney, he arranged for Shaun to meet her without telling her much to her delight.

You may not know that many nonliving things have a gender.
For example…
1) Ziploc Bags-
They are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.
2) Copiers-
They are Female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm them up again. It’s an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed.
3) Tire-
Male, because it goes bald and it’s often over-inflated.
4) Hot Air Balloon-
Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it, and of course, there’s the hot air part.
5) Sponges-
Female, because they’re soft, squeezable and retain water.
6) Web Page-
Female, because it’s always getting hit on.
7) Subway-
Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up.
8) Hourglass-
Female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.
9) Hammer-
Male, because it hasn’t changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it’s handy to have around.
10) Remote Control-
Female…… Ha! You thought it’d be male. But consider this-it gives a man pleasure, he’d be lost without it, and while he doesn’t always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying.

I for one would love to read the finished version, it had me chuckling out loud, the clumpany identifies all the latest hun hacks.
It seems perverse tae wipe yer erse
Wae Mail or Times or Sun
Where headlines smudge ye, in the cludgy
As newsprint tends tae run
The ink aye leaks across yer cheeks
An’ photies always smear
Who wants a hack upon yer crack
Or Murdoch up yer rear
Who wants a new quink ink tattoo
Of Keevins looking glum?
Jabba the Hutt, across yer butt?
My God that’s some size bum?
