Ronny’s fuel for next four months

1674

There would have been no surprise reading Ronny Deila’s ‘heaven and hell’ season in the Celtic View.  It must have been an enthralling season for the manager but, good grief, it started with an 8.6 on the Strachan Early Season Scale.

These experiences mark us.  We’ve watched footballers and managers grow weary (another word for lazy) in the past, as their early groundwork waned during good times, but memories like Legia or Maribor will inform every decision Ronny Deila makes for the next four months.  He needs to use that ‘Never again’ month as fuel right now.

Did you sign the petition yesterday to demand the Scottish Government repeal their ill-conceived nonsense of a law which the entire country outside of Holyrood, and a few elites at Police Scotland, know is an abomination?  If not, here’s your chance.

Let’s hope those that iron on the transfers are on top of their game.

That hyphenated name must be giving them the grumbles to begin with.

  3. The Barcelona – Munich clash last night was a marvelous game of football. We often hear the pundits talk of the suspect Barcelona defence. This certainly was not the case last night, I thought they were very solid at the back and hardly gave the Bayern attack a sniff.

When we beat the Catalans after they arrived at Celtic Park on a ten match winning streak, we saw how Messi was at his most lethal when confronted with tiring defenders and made us sweat for the final minutes of that great victory against the Spaniards. He did again last night against the Germans – what a player.

The play offs were the target before the ‘managers’ abandoned ship for gardening

and they remain the ultimate safety net.

There are a daisy chain of shiny faced primed officials all ready to join up

in a merry-go-round of mibbery, that’ll put the final nail in the coffin of Scottish

football, when ‘the journey’ will be complete, and ‘the fabric of Scottish society’

is restored, with a brand new club, under an old name.

Petition signed guys. Was discussing Danny Wilson with deidco fan on Saturday. He could not speak highly enough of the boy (still only 23) so much so he reckons we would be completing one of the best pieces of business within our game. What have we got to loose ? Free agent, willing to improve and capability to improve unlike they eejits who signed for sevco 3 year agoand most of all he has CELTIC in his heart.

Give the Bhoy a chance I say , if he doesn’t work out ? ship him out Hail Hail

  7. Thank you very much for the wishes. Really appreciate them all.

Happy Birthday, Dharma Bham again. All the best to Ryan, DDs son.

The sounded like a passage from the horrific ‘Billy Boy in Hunderland’ story.

Let’s hope – but not expect – that it remains fiction for as long as possible.

Much talk on here recently of the loss of class consciousness, an argument I didn’t think held water, until I read today there are some Celtic supporters planning to have a double-barreled name on the back of their shirt!

Mmmmm as our host used to say.

  12. Aberdeen let us down badly last Sunday by losing to Dundee Utd and denied us the chance of a final showdown. Ronny has the Title in the bag earlier than expected and can get to work on his plans of strengthening the squad with the lure in prospect of 25 millions of Champions League money.

Consider myself one of the lucky one’s as I’m heading up to the game on Sunday, hope all the Bhoys n Ghirls present let the officials know who the Champions are , cheatin bassas and a wee rendition of “are you sevco in discuise ” would not go amiss

  14. Just back from doing my duty – 3 elections going on.

in the parish council you can vote for up to 6 candidates out of 7 – all independents. Woman turned round while in the booth and asked -do you have to vote, cause i don’t like independents !!!

I was surprised that no snp on the main ballot paper given the comments from cameron i thought they were all over the place.

I generally don’t pick up on spelling/grammar. This was clearly predictive text (which I hate btw) gone wrong. Just thought I’d make a wee joke out of it, but apologies if it caused you any embarrassment. Certainly wasn’t the intention.

With tickets secure and several rooms booked,Aberdeen has certainly removed the competitive edge, they have also removed the possibility of a defeat being a disaster weekend,so I can live with it being won early.

Still furious regarding the blatant cheating at the Semi.

I hope there will be no Celtic vs. Legia game in Europe soon. There was too much bad blood given by the media , especially the Scottish after last meeting. I do not know who would win today if both teams were in their best form, but another meeting is not necessery. I think Legia will win the league here, will play in CL qualification but will be different team becouse we are going to sell three players for good money. By the way, we have very good striker who we give green light for the transfer. He would fit Celtic and many other teams very well. His scoring ratio is good. Legia would let him go for 1 million euros.
