Congratulations to Celtic, who last night became the first Scottish team to win a European tie since, Celtic, last season. While I am sure we would all have preferred to face Dundalk in the next Champions League qualifying round, a trip to Norway to face Rosenborg will be welcome by the club.
Rosenborg are not the same force we faced 16 years ago, and even that team was a shadow of the team who tested Real Madrid a few seasons earlier. The Norwegians succumbed to the inevitable forces of economic plunder, as clubs from richer leagues picked off their talent at increasingly earlier ages.
We should have more than enough in the tank for this one.

Like i said. Plenty on here condone the cheating by the SFA/HUNS, but are offended by a banner.
As angelgabriel has stated – if Celtic want to play in the champions League (which made us £30m last season) then we abide by the rules set by UEFA including Acceptable Conduct.
Stripping titles relates to the League, a competition run by SPFL while the Scottish Cup is run by the SFA. Each of these competitions have their own rules, which are currently under a great deal of scrutiny, believe me !
You cannot sensibly compare one competition to another conduct wise. Each is a separate issue.
And if you do want to Sack the Board or make your feelings known, come to the AGM and take the floor. Every shareholder has that right. If you are not a shareholder, buy just 1 share and you will have that right. Anyone can sound off on a keyboard.

Why are these issues mutually exclusive? We all object to “getting cheated by SFA/HUNS” and many also object to banners which are guaranteed to get the club fined for rule infractions.
I attended the Scottish Football Supporters Association (68k + members) meeting at Holyrood this morning which in conjunction with German academics experts is an attempt to give a voice to fans about their thoughts on Scottish Football governance through an independent survey.

Suffice to say at my age I think I’ve sang and shouted every song or chant that has came out of Celtic Park so there is nothing from OUR SUPPORTERS last night that could offend me. Regards the banners I immediately thought of the IRA and they never offended me either. No offence to those that took offence.

Just a wee thought on all those criticising the Celtic Support bringing politics (Irish politics at that) into Celtic Park; if it wisnae for Irish Politics Celtic wouldn’t exist, and I’m reminded of that everytime I go to St Mary’s for Mass and see that wonderful mosaic just inside the door commemorating the founding of Celtic Football Club in that Parish in 1887.
We were built upon politics; we were built upon the Irish Diaspora. It’s in our DNA. If we remove that, we move our heritage and are no longer Celtic Football Club.
