Congratulations to Celtic, who last night became the first Scottish team to win a European tie since, Celtic, last season. While I am sure we would all have preferred to face Dundalk in the next Champions League qualifying round, a trip to Norway to face Rosenborg will be welcome by the club.
Rosenborg are not the same force we faced 16 years ago, and even that team was a shadow of the team who tested Real Madrid a few seasons earlier. The Norwegians succumbed to the inevitable forces of economic plunder, as clubs from richer leagues picked off their talent at increasingly earlier ages.
We should have more than enough in the tank for this one.

Very disappointed with the charges against Leigh as his actions at the end of the match didn’t appear in any way intended to provoke the the small section of opposition fans who were closest to our support and who had remained in the stadium for no good reason while our players went to thank the Celtic fans behind the goal. If anything the Linfield fans stayed behind after the game to abuse our players.
The delegate last night was from the Czech Republic, I could not find who the delegate was in Belfast it wasn’t listed on the UEFA website despite this giving out the usual information.
Celtic are quick to act against their own support but refuse to or wont comment on being cheated for years.

The last time I looked every single member of our board was uni educated, they are spineless to boot, they are self serving and some might call them parasites as well.

Same reply to you my friend, I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with the nuances of said banner. They were warned last year in advance , yet did it anyway with the inevitable consequences. Here’s the rub….Celtic FOOTBALL club without this pointless crap that some would like to pursue is an infinitely more marketable brand!
