  1. Oh dear not the Lenny not up to it debate. We are disjointed at present but please lets not start on blaming lenny just yet. Time for the board to invest in a decent striker in my opinion with Anto Stokes and Hoops out we struggle. Tony Watt should be in the squad ahead of big Murph in every instance.

    Roaster……

You suggesting Sammi was persistently poor last season

    Do you watch CFC. Games

Just because you tell a player to GTF or p*ss off or the like is not necessarily abusive- it relates to an unacceptable performance- if NL goes into the dressing room and tells some of those players to GTF and return to Lennoxtown on Monday with an improved attitude- would that not be understandable ??

  4. Neil Lennon is ainm dom (nohunlover) on

Love Strachan sticking us for us, laughing at that fud Brittain saying he played the ball at the stonewall penalty. If it was against Celtic, can you imagine tge whingeing from the commentators!! Love it when we get a last minute winner/equaliser like that

  5. Yep.. The “Let off”…of “Let offs”!

We should be charged wi’ Grand Larceny..

and.. It did not have to end this way..

    Young Tony should have..

    STARTED..

    with..

    Sammi on the Left Wing..

Lustig should not have been in the Formation..

    A Real Puzzler of a Team Selection,by Neil… when I saw it..

    I could not believe it..

Watt, earned His Spurs.. He is Ready for Prime Time

He should. START against the Swedes.

But.. He Won’t… Neil, won’t take the chance..

    Pity.

  6. Poor performance but still a thoroughly deserved draw. Nothing up front until Watt came on. Striker desparately needed, had we had one today we would have won comfortably. No 3rd rate loanees from down south, Rhodes, or someone of similar ability in front of goal or stick with Watt. Keep Sammi on the left wing.

Happy with a point against Ross County.

Sounds about as ambitious as DD and PL>

  8. Pfayr

I never suggested Sammi was poor last season. He certainly had a couple of good runs of form.

I was only referring to today’s performance

  9. I’ll take a point on a day like that. Thought it was not going to happen.

Fair play to Ross County, did what they had to do and look like they could be a part of SPL set up for a good few years to come.

Hope some of our players start to realise that another SPL champions medal is going to have to be earned. This will be a tough season even without that other club, what do you call them, I forget, played in blue, really ugly fans, lots of bigotry when they were about, anyway – we need to up the work rate.

I don’t agree with what you said ,but I support your right to express yourself.

  11. A Lone Wolfe's Tones on

A draw the fair result today, cheated as per…. but we were poor.

RC typical dull, boring tactics but they worked hard for it

and their goal was a sweet strike.

A valuable 2 points dropped in the title race though, that means the hun will be…..

Oh hold on, there is no hun in the SPL, well apart from MIB’s n Killie chairman,

    n ESPN commentators n… n….

Not ideal prep for Europe, but all still good.

  12. Ghents my fault today

Had Mulgrew and Sammi on to score any time ….jinxed again

  13. Looks like a few cockroaches came out of the shadows today.

Commons missed when 1 on 1 with keeper.

    Victor hit the bar.

    Sammi refused a blatant penalty.

Keeper made a couple of very good saves

Plus we squandered a few 1/2 chances.

No need to think we will struggle in the SPL.

  14. The fuzz;

“A few jokers and/or interlopers on here today.

Months and years of good performances seem to go out the window in one dreary afternoon.”

Months and years of good performances??? Dunno where you were the couple of seasons before last.

  15. I half listened to that….fell asleep during the first half about 30 mins. in. Woke up to hear we were a goal down with 20 mins. to go.

So…..why didn’t we play for the first 70 like we did for the last 20?

Ref was same old same old.

Ross Cty. were up for it and using tried and tested tactics against us…….defend, blooter and rely on the ref as 12th. man.

I’m praying for something better against the Swedes. Because it has to be.

Two very early starts in the agricultural north with a crucial European tie in between.

Anyone more paranoid than me would think that is deliberately designed to make life as difficult as possible for us. But I guess we should be used to THAT.

Anyway,I’m relieved we salvaged a draw. A sense of urgency is required from the off ; not the last quarter of the game.

That’s just my opinion. And we don’t do entitlement. So,well done Ross Cty. You had us sussed and we paid the price.

    HH!

  16. Who’s job is it to get the teams mind right before they go on the park? and the tactics? My name is Kevin James Micheal McKenna im no hun bu any stretch of the imagination but thats not good enough by a long way. Week in Week out last season the team looked disjointed mentally. No Matter who gets played they dont look up for it.

  17. Don’t you just love our spoiled & greetin’-faced armchair experts who all know better than Neil Francis ?

    I DESERVE BETTER.

    ME ! ME! ME !

  18. Neil Lennon is ainm dom (nohunlover) on

I LOVE GORDON STRACHAN, loves the Celts, calls it as it is. A definite penalty. Buzzing, come on the Hoops!!

  19. A disjointed performance, especially in midfield. Well done to County tho. They scored a peach and worked hard.

One of our biggest concerns over losing Rangers was that it would be boring strolling the league. We should win the league, but we’lll have to earn it.

  20. Dexter

So….a players worth is only as good as his current performance

Grow up and criticise without abuse ….I used to go overboard ..still do …but try to curb it

Btw your earliet post inferred you were fed up with payers being regularly poor

  21. Days like this are best left to the malcontents and pretendy tims who are really, eh what is it we used to call the supporters of, eh, who was that club? Their share was taken up by a new club in the fourth tier of scottish football, but I don’t watch that stuff, couldn’t even tell you who is in any of the leagues below us apart from Accies, Dunfermline and Queens Park, Berwick, Queen of the South, Partick – all clubs with long traditions. I forget the others. Anyway, those guys that used to come on here after bad results for us, pretending to be Tims but were really, ah, um, och I forget. I just know I didn’t like them………

    Leave them to it.

    Thing is…

Is the team equal to or greater than the sum of its parts?

    Not today.

    RC? You bet.

    Why?

  24. Performances like today are part of the reason why Celtic have lost around 20,000 regular attendees over the last 4 years.

The quality of product on the park is very poor at times.

  25. Just back from watching the game and haven’t read back.

I assume that we are all in a philosophical mood!

    Happy enough with the result.

Always difficult places to go to.

Big plus is that points will be dropped, but unlike every other year, they are not going to capitalize.

Previously, every point dropped was potentially fatal, or seemed that way.

Celtic winning the league by Christmas is just what the hun savers want.

Some things haven’t changed, though and that is the standard of refereeing.

Thompson was dangerously lax today with their late tackles.

Packed defences with a ball thrown over the top is going to be the diet for this season.

We have to deal with it.

Hopefully, no more injuries for Tuesday.

  27. craigwhitesoptometrist says u have 21/20 vision, is that even possible? on

Guys we played against a team who hasn’t lost at home for over a year, regardless of pay wages remember our record in Europe at home against bigger teams, when u build momentum u can achieve great things, and those Lennon doubters, get a grip.

  28. Guys please put this into context, there’s no point in risking players that are not 100% (Hooper, Stokes, Brown, Forrest), when we have a play-off match on TUESDAY to qualify into the CL group stages.

Due to the injuries of the other attackers in the sqaud (Murphy, Bangura) then we were always likely to play Smamras up front with Commons playing off him. The only question for me was why we didn’t integrate Watt into the friendlies more than Murphy as he’s more athletic than the other forwards in the squad and already, even at 18, a better player than Murphy and probably Bangura.

Samaras is at his best running with the ball into space and he’s not a typical number 9, which we don’t really possess at the club.
