Don’t mention John Beaton’s name, apparently. Referees and VARs are not open to scrutiny. Brendan Rodgers did not say Beaton was corrupt, he did not say Sunday’s VAR was fond of celebrating at hostelries hostile to Celtic, he simply called out what he saw was “poor officiating”.
As a consequence, Brendan faces an SFA disciplinary hearing. The difference between calling out poor performances – which we are all capable of, including Brendan – and asking for specific referees to be barred from your games is stark.
The SFA has reacted like this because it is weak. It has weak officials who make mistakes and it has weak administrators who are out of their depth. This is the environment Celtic have to do business in and whether you think it corrupt of just plain “poor”, it drags us down.

someone is miss representing being a season ticket holder from the 60s.
in the very early days there were “membership” cards giving entry to committee and as it says tyhe members.
over time this gave way to complimentary cards for the owning families when it became a limited company.
there were 500 season book holders through the 50s/60s, and this was controlled from desmond whites bath street office. i read some where for the front enclosure, but celtic would not increase the number,
very restrictive practices to keep family inovloved.
when the pools office came along, an agent would be given a free ground seasson ticket, i think you had to have 200+ clients.
whisper it but, the first open sale of new season books was conducted i am sure by Terry cassidy.
the huns in the eraly 90s had over 30,000 season book holders, we had 4,000.
fergus and the hampden season changed that, and many thousands bout a seat because it would get you on the list for the new celtic park.
on returning there, we have 4 family seats in 144, and we used to joke we were sitting higher up than the jungle roof and it was built on the foundations of the pavilion.
that opening game against newcastle, iw was astounded when a car full of old saint stephens boys, above me in school rolled up on the gallowgate in a car, five of them, their collective celtic supporting games a big fat zero.
that was their first ever, they had not even been to cappielow in the heyday of morton v celtic games.
the new supporter base, i didnt know wether to laugh or cry.

given the decision on yangs high boot – does this mean bicycle kicks in the crowded penalty area are considered dangerous play? for me they are more dangerous than yang lifting to flick the ball away.
Crawford Allan is out of his depth , lacks accountability and runs the ref association with the secrecy of an orange lodge.

FWIW, my own belief is that the generally pro-Sevco/anti-Celtic ethos prevailing in Scotland rather than the cheating in specific games is what makes it harder for us to win the title.

I try really hard to give certain referees the benefit of the doubt when it comes to decision making – Celtic have had many many decisions for this season. The handball rule is a major issue – however when the rule is actually very clear , I feel certain referees are looking/searching for a way to hurt us. The Iwata handball – close proximity, ball not moving toward goal, played off a teammate while being nudged – the rules clearly state this is not a pen. That versus Goldson (take your pick) when the ball is traveling towards goal!
To a degree, I can understand the yang error – but it wasn’t a clear and obvious miss by the ref – he gave a yellow.
As a paying customer, I was enjoying the match until the officials intervened on material matters – yang was the best player on the pitch up to that point.
re pro sevco ethos – for sure – the yang non penalty narrative would have been different had that been a blue jersey – “he’s running at pace and any slight touch is enough for a man to go down etc..”
I just caught up that we offloaded Bernabei – the clubs management of left back is another main reason we have struggled this season. Why we did not bring in a left back (even from a Scottish club) is astounding to me. The number of goals we lose due to lack of height/physicality at left back is annoying /frustrating.
Board as culpable as referees this season! sleeping and golfing!

Thats the Horse that I told you about last Friday….as it cost me about £1,000 with the Bookie when it was beaten by a ” HEAD” into 2nd Place.
