Souness: loan was for work, makes interesting dates claim

496

Graeme Souness today told a Daily Record reporter that he received his EBT LOAN from Rangers because:

“I was doing work for Rangers.

“I was in between jobs. I was going to scout for Glasgow Rangers at that time”.

Payment in return for “doing work” is what this whole business is all about. Payment for “doing work” is taxable. It cannot be remunerated via a non-repayable loan.

Mr Souness was manager of Blackburn Rovers from 14 March 2000 until 6 September 2004.

As Blackburn manager, he signed Tugay from Rangers on 17 May 2001. He requested £30,000 from the Rangers EBT scheme five weeks later.

“In between jobs” Really? These dates make that an interesting claim.

Or mibbee he’d have become a socialist supporting priest like those in Central America in the 80s and been gunned down by the right wing militias?

We can ask him when we meet him. Not for a while for either of us I pray! Arriving at work. Have a grand day and take care of yourself.

    ———————————

That does seem plausible enough, to be honest.

Obviously also the same thing occurred in Mexico, years earlier – definitely instigated by the US government.

This is the crux of the matter though – who controls the United States? Zionist/Communists?

    Left wing, right wing?

What does it matter when the rifles are all aimed at the same target?

The common denominator is this – the clergy are always the first to be placed against the wall.

There could be a million and one different reasons why.

I’ll try and do some research work, then I’ll respond to your question in detail.

It’s a bit like the normal far-left bs that is predominant on here though.

What about the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition?

JFK was unfaithful to his wife, allegedly – definitely deserved to be killed for that.

Thanks what the Communist posse say if you sing the praises of Kennedy – evil bassa cheated on his missus.

    So what?

Not evil bassa slaughtered 40 million innocent people fs.

    It never ends.

    Nice one.

Thousands by Left Wing ( Actually communist ) govt.

    14 by Franco`s fascists.

“Spain’s Catholic Church supported Franco’s uprising against the elected Left-wing Republican government. While the Church has always honoured the thousands of clergy who died at the hands of the Republicans, those who were killed by Franco have been officially ignored.

In an unprecedented step, a service was held in the cathedral of the Basque Country’s capital, Vitoria, to remember 14 priests who were killed by Franco’s forces during the 1936-39 war. “

  4. Anyone ever wonder why so many ordinary Spanish people hated the Catholic Church so much during the Spanish ‘Civil’ War?

Though I’m not sure that a military uprising, which relied on support from Hitler and Mussolini, against an elected Government should really be called a civil war.

Throw a bucket of water over the grass and the worms appear on the surface.

    Incredible.

Communists are willing to kill for whatever it is that they believe… Christians will die for their beliefs.

  8. Souness and his” who got the most” question is surely only relevant to HMRC if they can collect tax and NIC on this amount and footballing authorites, the question should be why if he was employed by Blackburn was he receiving an EBT from Rangers 1872 now deceased.

I am puzzled that despite it being well known he had an EBT that questions are only now being asked,I must have missed McCann Murray McLeish Ferguson Dodds etc answering the same question and why they were being paid this way.

  10. Clubs breaching FFP rules is nothing new to gain promotion to the promised land of the EPL (soon to be just the PL, when next seasons rebranding takes effect).

The punishment is purely monetary and off little consequence to the club’s.

Got me thinking. What if a current shareholder decided to revamp the club in the summer and to fund that he threw sponsorship money at the club well above the going rate for a club in a backwater. This was used to fund a new management structure and playing staff.

How would we feel about this financial doping and sporting integrity?

Twenty one years ago today, the reconstructed Celtic Park was re-dedicated by the ceremonial placing of a sod of turf which left Mullaghdurf, Annagry at 4.00 am the previous day.

Thus replicating the ceremony graced by Michael Davitt, over a century earlier.

    Fergus did the honours.

The history of the Catholic church is chequered at best but we have to remember it is made up of ordinary men and women and we are all sinners who try to do our best for our faith. It is the same through out the world we members of the Church need to play our part even though it is a small part to try to ensure that we follow the Gospel faithfully .The slate cannot be wiped clean for the sins of the past they will always be in our history but we can practice as Jesus showed us forgiveness. Many men have over the years entered the clergy I assume with good intentions but have fallen under the devils spell and that unfortunately will continue to be the case as long as the devil walks this earth many of us will fall prey to him . I often wonder how non believers cope with all that life throws at them as a believer I like others struggle at times but I thank the lord that I am a Christian and a believer and look forward to eternal life with Jesus. H.H.
