SPL stalemate leaves bare truth narrative for Rangers

643

A stalemate was one of the more positive possible outcomes from today’s SPL meeting.  Such are the layers of intimidation which have been levelled across a spectrum of football clubs, bodies and individuals in the last week, it was difficult to imagine SPL chairmen standing up for sporting integrity after Sandy Jardine’s ominous words.

Unfortunately, for the Magnificent Duff and Phelps, they will have to shred plans to blame someone else for the shambles they are, kind of, administering.  Their creative talents will be taxed to the limit to explain for another two weeks why it is in creditors interests to consume available monies while Craig Whyte has not moved an inch in 10 weeks on demands for his shares of stadium security.

The narrative of this story is also important.  Angry Ally could have blamed the SPL chairmen for Rangers imminent descent into oblivion, and demanded to know where they live, but this would have been a corruption of the truth.  Rangers will not die because of the SPL or SFA but because their own misdeeds of the last 20 years are about to catch up with them.

This will be their final narrative.  Be angry at those who administered and profited from the EBTs, no one else.

  1. One other observation from yesterday’s game………All of you who thought it smart to goad the Huns by doing the bouncy, may I draw to your attention the occasion their actions celebrate and ask you to consider wether you want to do the bouncy again wind up or not

Shame on you if you took part yesterday

I posed a question on page 2 of previous blog with a follow up observation on the next page/s.

I asked if the key issue was not what the SPL tried to do but what the SFA direct the SPL what to do for a Newco to be granted a club license.

Now if a license is not required to play in the SPL then it makes no difference if one is granted or not but if SPL clubs cannot play without one, and I doubt that they could and certainly would not be alllowed to play in the EL or CL,

then what the SPL decide on Newco is irrelevant.

Perhaps UEFA have nudged the SFA to nudge the SPL to remind them who is the final arbitrer.

I am on my phone so cannot copy over both my posts on what this means but I made the point that enforcing integrity comes at a commercial cost to Scottish football and some financial parachute to lessen the loss of Rangers starting afresh as integrity demands could be requested from UEFA a loan repaid from EL and CL income due to clubs that qualify for the group stages

I dont give two tuppeny sucks about anything else apart from watching the huns dying. It is getting to the stage that their STILL living body is riddled with gorging maggots and we just need to wait until they disappear and then we can celebrate EVEN MORE

Great isn´t it …. walking past them and them knowing that they are dead.

    I just love it

With every choked back tear of Sallys I can comfort myself from any Lenny mistake ….. as long as they die very slowly publicly and dementedly

I suggested that we do the bouncy before we went to Ibrox and hamiltontim brought up the same as Mickbhoy1888.

Many many and more learned … lets be tactful here …. said that it was a load of pash made up by sensitive huns.

I couldn´t believe that the huns had an original idea

quonno, I did say that maybe we shouldn’t be bashing Lennon too much given that we won 3-0… the hint of sarcasm ought to have told you that I wasn’t looking to have a dig.

Not sure about the diet Huns. I think the full-fat Huns first did it at a match in Germany circa 96. A mate of mine was at the game and that was one of his stories from the trip – he said it was a reference to the Dambusters.

    With you 100%.

The defence trotted out by the FoD is that the ‘bouncy’ has nothing to do with them “just having a good time” and that its origins are a Timmy myth.

If we call them out on it ( and we do , and should continue to do so) we have just surrendered the moral high ground by parodying the bouncy.

It is not fun and it is not funny to anyone who knows the back story.

I have the same feelings about our support taunting the FoD “Ha Ha Ha Ha ” to the tune of the Billy Boys.
