After a cursory search on google i came on this.
A subject often brought up by Jewish Zionists, what they always fail to mention is that this meeting between the Grand Mufti and Hitler so upset Palestinians that the Grand Mufti was refused leave to return to Palestine because of it & in fact remained in Germany until after the war.
Even more important , and never mentioned by Jewish Zionists, is that Jewish terror groups made a pact with Hitler
RobertTressell- interesting points Robert though I would say if there had been no attacks on Israel, there would have been no land grabs. Also, the neighbouring Arab countries seemed to be just as quick to claim Palestinian land. Also, Israel has always accepted a 2 state solution.
I think it all comes down to: if Israel is left alone, there would be no conflict. There would be free movement. Palestine, as recognised by the UN in 1948, would exist. Everyone would be wearing daisy chains, smoking doobs, listening to Leonard Cohen.
Timreaper – how would you spend the £20million plus we are in line to pick up after we progress on Tuesday? Awe can keep the lights on, maintain the stadium, pay the bills etc from our basic income as a club. So we should be able to splash out a bit. What positions do you feel we should strengthen in order to compete in Europe and blow away domestic rivals?

I don’t feel that it is appropriate to post on here about geo-political issues but in this case I will make it an exception.
Regardless of opinions on the Palestinian/Israeli stand off, I do not feel that Celtic Park should be the arena to show case the issue. There are many opportunities and venues to do this; so those who want to show their affiliations should be free to do so. I suggest that they do not associate our football club with the political agenda of some Celtic “supporters”. Do not misunderstand my point; I fully support the Palestinian cause but it is not a fitba issue.

a) Are you a member of the GB?
b) Are you a member or supporter of any political party/pressure group that has an interest in the Palestinian conflict?

I’ve no issue with the GB but it’s surely healthier on a public forum for those who have a particular opinion to disclose any possible conflict.
