SAINT STIVS SAYS SACK THE BOARD on 22ND AUGUST 2016 12:22 AM

a beacon for the down trodden ?

    =====================================

    Yes.

    Of Glasgow.

    ——————————–

the 1880 census had the calton as nearly 90% irish immigrants,

Even more important , and never mentioned by Jewish Zionists, is that Jewish terror groups made a pact with Hitler

    ======================================================

    A bizarre claim.

    ——————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Lehi (Hebrew pronunciation: [ˈleχi]; Hebrew: לח”י – לוחמי חרות ישראל‎‎ Lohamei Herut Israel – Lehi, “Fighters for the Freedom of Israel – Lehi”), often known pejoratively as the Stern Gang,[9][10][11][12] was a Zionist paramilitary organization founded by Avraham (“Yair”) Stern in Mandatory Palestine.[13][14] Its avowed aim was to evict the British authorities from Palestine by resort to force, allowing unrestricted immigration of Jews and the formation of a Jewish state, a ‘new totalitarian Hebrew republic’.[15] It was initially called the National Military Organization in Israel,[1] upon being founded in August 1940, but was renamed Lehi one month later.[16]

Lehi split from the Irgun militant group in 1940 in order to continue fighting the British during World War II. Lehi initially sought an alliance with Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany, offering to fight alongside them against the British in return for the transfer of all Jews from Nazi-occupied Europe to Palestine.

    Bizarre indeed.

    No.

    I was agreeing with you.

You come across as a shit stirrer. I think your comments about a poppy find being just around the corner are somewhat insidious. Is that your intention, to fuel a campaign that will lead to Celtic Football Club getting another fine? What will the fine be after the poppy fine? You’re more excited about the Palestinian protest than Celtic’s victory on Wednesday night. In fact you sound as if it was an orgasmic experience for you.

I’m with MACJAY on this one. If Celtic are fined £15000 for the GB’s flag display and the GB have raised that amount of money then they should pay the fine. They used Celtic’s stadium to put on the protest without the permission of the club. They got the club into trouble with the powers-that-be. They owe it to Celtic and the Celtic support to pay the fine. They can then go ahead and raise money for the Palestinians and I’ll happily contribute.

  5. SAOR ULADH,

Thanks for that, I appreciate the clarification.

Hopefully a couple of other posters will be able to offer similar clarifications (I’ll ask them directly).

I hope you appreciate that given your recent posts and commitment to this issue that I felt I should ask.

If you’re ever in the Clogherhead area feel free to give me a shout.

  6. TheOriginalSadiesBhoy on 22nd August 2016 12:39 am

That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it.

    Knock yerself out. ;)

Sensational stuff from Celtic supporters today.

I’m proud to be a Celtic supporter.

    Macjay you are wrong.

This to me is what Celtic is all about.

    Now the paranoi:

My god I hope we score at least once in Israel.

The eyes of the world are upon Celtic this week.

Lets get into the CL.. 5-2 and Im shitting myself.

    Not a problem at all.

Will i be safe from the Vikings if i turn up in Clogherhead??

This constitutes ” making a pact with Hitler ” ?

I was right the first time..

    Bizarre AND non factual.

    Glass houses?

SIN CITY BHOY: Among your posts today I noticed you said you came from Dalrymple…. I played there once in an Ayrshire Amateur Cup game for Shell Amateurs against Dalrymple Amateurs in 1958 and a spectator tripped me up when I was ‘flying’ down the left wing…. Hope that wisnae you or your faither!! :) :)

Maybe there was another political party called the Nazi’s running around at the time that wasn’t as well known as Hitler’s?

Clutching at straws again there champ.

You’re not very good at this are you.

    (That was a rhetorical question)

  12. Margaret McGill on

Can I have my selective history ?

The stern gang murdered many British soldiers who were the Palestine police 1945-47.

I have a story there if anyone is interested.

  13. Soar Uladh

I’ll ask you more directly this time. Are you happy to see Celtic being fined for a Poppy protest which you tell us is going to happen soon? Is this how you see the future for our Club? Periodically fined by UEFA, SFA for protests carried out by a small section of Celtic fans.

Is this your agenda? You certainly don’t seem to be too excited about the football the team are playing at the moment.

I hope you’ll give a clearer response than “knock yerself out.”

  14. weebobbycollins on

    Coolmore Mafia…there’s a lot of reading there…

in a nutshell, my sympathies lie with the people. Religion leaves me cold, no time for it, aspects of the culture I find disagreeable, Hamas and Fatah, no thanks, Yassin and Arafat, both willing to sacrifice many lives for power but they’re in a good place now…together. But to observe the people in their daily lives, the hopelessness of it, the poverty, wretchedness and fear…yet the resilience, courtesy, good humour and generosity…it’s difficult not to admire that…and that is what I see in the people. I so wish the best for them…

And when it comes to reading, there’s a good book ‘Drinking the Sea at Gaza’, written by Amira Hass, an Israeli journalist…it tells of every day people and their struggles and gets you closer to the truth of the situation…

    regards…

Those Norsemen have a lot to answer for!

Used to drink in Sarsfields in Drogheda a while back, i would know that family rather well.

  16. SAOR ULADH,

The St Laurence’s CSC meet there for games now. You’d know some of the lads on the Chord Road? Or maybe Gleesons on Narrow West Street? More Than 90 mins /St Margaret’s CSC, had a night there on the Barca weekend.

Are you happy to see Celtic being fined for a Poppy protest which you tell us is going to happen soon?

No, Celtic have never been fined for a Poppy Protest

Is this how you see the future for our Club? Periodically fined by UEFA, SFA for protests carried out by a small section of Celtic fans.

Celtic have never been fined by the SFA for a banner protest / If Uefa feel that they can ban one flag on one side of a conflict and not the other i’m sure those of us who strife for justice for the minority and the supressed will again make our voices hears. / Small section of Celtic fans? Have you got a ball park figure on that? I do £22,125 in 12 hours.

    Is this your agenda

I don’t have an agenda, i paddle my own canoe, you should try it sometimes, good for the soul

You certainly don’t seem to be too excited about the football the team are playing at the moment.

    Looks can be deceiving

I hope those answers were to your satisfaction an allay all and any fears that you may have harboured.

SAOR ULADH 1253: Why don’t you Google it? I remember the Stern gang and the British Army being there fighting them.

    ok short summary :)

My great Uncle Robert (protestant) became a jeweler in Glasgow as a young man working with Dutch jew jewelers who left Holland and immigrated to Glasgow for various reasons. He became a watchmaker and learned Yiddish. He was conscripted in WW2 as a translator. He was one of the first British soldiers to enter Belsen. He served in the Palestine police after the war.

As the story goes 3 stern gang members were caught after they had murdered 3 British soldiers circa 1946-7 and 2 of the 3 were summarily executed in the street by the British until Robert intervened. He nearly got shot by his own friends. His reasoning was let this one go back and let them know what us Brits do to murderers. 10 years later he got a letter from the Israeli govt making him an honorary citizen of Israel. The guy they let go was Ben Gurion’s son.
