There was, however, no grandstanding from Sturgeon yesterday when two Newco players were caught by police breaking Covid rules. Instead, the Scottish Government slipped out a statement COMMENDING Newco:
“Players maintain the sporting bubble by not compromising any of these things when away from the heavy regulated training or match environment, and we expect clubs and their staff and players to fulfil their responsibilities and apply all of these measures rigorously.
“We commend Rangers for taking such swift and decisive action in this instance, to protect the rest of their squad and wider public.”
One club is commended for doing that two others were punished for. I know how things work in Scotland. The SNP is far from popular among supporters at Ibrox, which remains an important political constituency, but turning a blind eye when the First Minister grabbed the opportunity to jump on Celtic is unworthy of the office.

Joe Biden may well win but certainly not by the landslide which has been reported by pollsters etc. One thing which I can’t figure out is why the Democratic and Republican parties are so broken? Last two elections Clinton and now Biden, Republicans Trump. Why is this the best either of them can do, are there no electable and reasonable people willing to go forward into politics under 70? I know you need money and a machine behind you to be President but that’s what these two parties are there for. I’d imagine that even if Trump loses, he will still have garnered 65+ million votes. I have no time for him whatsoever, but something is so broken in the US that he speaks to so many people. Worth noting Trump needs the support of Democrats as well as Republicans to win, as he did in the last election why do so many across the political divide seem him as the answer?

I HATE having to give Rocky Two Insulin injections every day, even though it doesnt hurt him…IF it did hurt him…I KNOW I couldnt do it, and I would have to hire a Vet Nurse to do twice daily…that would be very expensive methinks ?
The PDSA Vets told me on Sunday that there are ” District Vet Nurses” available at a Price obviously.

I live in (rural) Michigan and Biden was leading the polls – I am shocked that Trump is better than expected. The few openly Republicans I have talked to believe Trump is the best for jobs and that the Dems are all Satan-worshipping pedophiles.
