    Hope yer smashin’ anaw.

Next shooting star I see,I’ll wish for last season’s form. I’ll take my chances on the contents landing on my head!!!

    I don’t actually think I said that.

I said apart from the goal we were playing better 2nd half.

    Save the apology btw.

  3. I can take this against the Barca’s and PSG’s of this world but tonight has been quite pathetic

In my 56 years of watching the Bhoys I have not witnessed a mental capitulation like this against an opposition of this Cali bee

Focus now on the league – after all in the project plan it is on the critical path to next years bonus!

  4. We have lost some awful goals in Europe this season.

Some serious cash needs to be spent on a defence.

Out with a whimper. Was willing to give Dorus the benefit of the doubt, but he killed us and won’t cope with Ibrox. Zenit are very ordinary, but we gifted them that tonight. Pitiful defending and nada in attack. Really poor.

  6. Might as well start the post mortem just now…..we got exactly what we deserved…..hee haw…..sad thing is…..they were there for the taking…..European dream ends on a damp squib…..back to the bread n butter of the SPHell

  7. Ah well Europe over for another year. Now we can push on and do back to back trebles! We need a goal keeper who can use his hands as well, hurry back Gordon.

    Hail hail!!

  8. How much to buy a dead ball specialist?

    Would he want to come?

Would his wage demands be too much?

    Does he like Loch Lomond?

    Does he like wearing gloves?

    MWD AH DINNY BOTHER!

  9. bad luck with injuries to players who have euro experience. Didn’t do enough at Celtic Park with our dominance. Still sore but now we re group and go for the treble.

  10. Defensive superiority by Zenit for 78 minutes at Celtic Park and then tonight we got picked off on the break after they showed how a European side has to play, to survive.

Transparent goalkeeper made the trip an impossibility and those that moaned about Gordon’s kicking have ironic egg on their face after witnessing a keeper that couldn’t keep hens out of a midden.

The second goal was his and arguably the first, with no attempt at the third apart from quaking on his line. BR needs to sign the usual annual summer centre back as a numero uno priority, and a keeper that’s at least useful in an emergency.

Somebody posted that possession is nothing against a counter attacking side, and so it proved but Zenit didn’t even need to be clinical and it was heart rending watching a keeper that couldn’t even star with Dunfermline.

What time the first, “ I’d take a draw at Pittodrie “ post.

    Europe ?

Let’s just forget it till we are released in a European league.

In the meantime let’s sort out the monkeys of Scotland.

    They deserve our attention.

FT. Dire. Absolutely dire. Really thought we could have given ourselves a chance tonight and we played for schmucks. They totally deserved to wallop us but they’re not great. Killer tonight. Absolutely dire.

  13. MD has completely lost it. He has done nothing since he came back to justify his position. PL will rue the day he didn’t flog him to the highes bidder last summer. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Damn.

    When is LG due back?

  14. What happened to last week’s spirit of adventure. ? To be fair, we are fighting away above our financial level and we must accept that if we get a result, then it’s a bit of a freak , sad really, but reality is.

  15. It’scalledthemalvinas I’m afraid we are so lost in our complacency that even Scottish teams have our number.

Still I hear Lewis Morgan is learning how to drive – all supervised by Celtic – so rest assured all is well.

  16. The hands cant hit what the eyes cant see on

Not good enough. Our ambition is to compete at this level. We have the finances to improve this team and we should utilise them. Zenit are not a top tier team but they made it look very easy tonight in only their 3rd competitive match of the season.

The deficiencies in defence which were apparent in summer 2016 are still there. We have ostensibly spent no resources on our defence since Rodgers arrived. It’s difficult to fathom.
