  1. the celebrations are excellent, well done team and fans.

    3,000 empty seats at pittodrie.

what a business man that milne is.

  2. First half: Godd football from us, we were in control, shouldve been 2-0 up. But we were obviously weak at the back.

Second half: McInnes obviously told his players to shell it into the box. We held firm, just about, but the game flowed away from us.

Madden intervened by awarding the Sheep every free kick possibly in our half. No bump was too innocuous for this balloon to blow his whistle and let them launch the ball into the box.

Lustig then did what he’s been threatening to do for a while. Have a complete brainstorm in his own half of the field and fresh air the ball, leading to him making another foul, and a second yellow. Time up for Mikhael surely.

At this point I thought Brown and Tierney just dug in and took the game by the scruff. Sensible defensive changes by BR too.

Tierney’s goal was beautiful. Great assist from Dembele. KT should have squared it to Edouard who was free but this lad has green blood in his veins and he just leathered it past the keeper.

Then, the cameo from Brown. Halfed in 2 by a shocker of a challenge he gets up and laughs at the raging Sheep fans. KT also right in the face of his assailant. Great spirit from the lads.

As for Sky Sports. Gutted doesn’t begin to describe their reaction. Walker sounded like someone had died at the second goal, the commentator completely missed the Dons red (“that’s Aberdeen down to nine men”),and there is no post-match reaction.

    “Supporting Scottish Football”. Aye right.

Overall, great win, great spirit. Nice to seem Tom Rogic back, hopefully Griff, Paddy, Comper, and Armstrong aren’t too far behind.

  3. Oh aye, best player on the park , Big Viking Ajer, ably backed up by his Scottish Bravehearts Broonie and KT.

Ajer could be another Mjalby for us.

  4. i'vehadtochangemyname on

good performance , good result- tr good, beginning to see ntcham’s value now, KT had a rocket up his erchie,

  5. It’s great to win and have an opportunity to learn lessons too.

Scottish Football was hoping for us to make the rest of the season hard for ourselves after two poor domestic results leading up to this one and ya looking distinctly average. Planet Sevco were getting all excited and thinking they were going to overturn a 9 point lead, ignoring the facts of footballing life. Despite John James and others predicting they could turn things around there are far more footballing problems facing second, third and fourth placed teams than facing us. Points will be dropped all round.

I am going to put my neck out and predict a 12-15 point lead for us, minimum, by the end of March.

  6. Great result, delighted.

Really dug in and secured a win. Great performances by Ajerand Tierney.

But god what has happend to Scott Sinclair

  7. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

They were awarded foul after foul, all to lump the ball into our box. Pretty much their one avenue.

Occasionally, in life you come across someone with the psyche of our captain Scott Brown’s. “Winner” doesn’t go close.

  8. Well done, Bhoys! It was not the greatest game but you had to put up with so much.I will not talk about the Madman, but was McLean trying to show us how to achieve the perfect fall down. I guess be was more upset that his team did not get close to Celtic today, rather than have any desire for Aberdeen to win.

  9. Appalling coverage from Sky no interviews after the game. They have no real interest in the Scottish game.Man Utd on 2 channels then they go straight to the other game, wish they would just hand over the Scottish game to BT.

  10. Loved Broonys reaction to the fouls and Kierans race to celebrate with the troops. Very satisfying result. Give them a bit of hope and then snatch it off them. COYBIG

  11. Across the length and breadth of Scotland (alleged) football journalists are having to rewrite their lengthy pieces on the re emergence of Sevco as serious title contenders after Celtic lost to Aberdeen. These of course will be replaced by a couple of paragraphs on how Celtic won at Pittordrie.

Just listened to anothe slandering apologist, Mark McGhee , on Sky Sports News. He surely can’t believe what he is saying? The Sky pro Sevco message is a mantra they must all recite daily. GIRFUY!

McGhee will say whatever he is told, another failed mouthpeice, who gets job after job.HH

  13. Sort decent stuff from us, we were never in any real danger, well I didn’t feel as if we were, after the week we have had, superb.

Dreadful display from the madhun as usual.

So how is the title race now you hun scum ???????

  14. That is the result that wins us the league. Well done Brendan and the Bhoys.. Come on the Hibs get that second spot. Lye down and grunt you orange Cs .

  15. Sky really is a disgrace – just realised there are TWO Sky channels giving a 60 minute build up to the league cup match down south.

Scottish football really would be better off without them. Their downbeat coverage, can’t-be-ar53d attitude, and pitiful cash handouts do our game no good.

Give it to BT Sport, who at least look interested, have fewer televised games, at better KO times, and the game would be in a better state.

  16. Sevco sitting 2nd.

Message to every other club below them.

This is what happens when you sit in silence and allow a club to spend money they don’t have. Right round you and read it and weep.

Yep, don’t forget the win was on an awful pitch and against a cheating ref.

*and that’s why I was so concerned last night, I’m not scared of any team in scotland but its the officials who give scheidt like mclean, paton, lasley etc a licence tae kick fck out of our players. as for the nonentity that got sent aff, spent his career in the english lower leagues.

roll on Wednesday when we can send the wee morton supporters team plunging toward relegation, I’m not looking for nothing at Perth on Tuesday either although they may be a wee bit deflated the day.

Another 3 points dropped at Motherwell midweek and Stevie Clarke’s team tae win at the weekend and wee mcsleekit will be holy ghost.

  18. Thrilled with the win, we had to dig it out and we did. Richie well said my bhoy, some posters here need to cop themselves on.

Even with game over after a great win a few still slagging a few of our players.

Mikel Lustig is escape goat of the year, so have a go at Mikel and you look clever.

Thought he actually played well today, made a terrible error which led to red card, maybe not at his best this year but a great servant of the Club who loves the ‘tic.

Thought DeVries & Dembele , Ajer & Ntcham were our best players but bloody Hell I just love KT.

He epitomises Celtic, that is my goal of the year & I don’t give a feck who says otherwise.

  19. Well done Celtic, you were asked the question and found the answers.

The defence held firm when needed a title winning performance.

Let’s keep the foot on the throttle and get it won.HH

  20. Starry,

The voice of reasonable p*sh ;-))….Lets enjoy *the now* ;-))

I think Seamus Larsson should get a perm….dreads are so last millenium ;-))

    H.H.

  21. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

Started the game well, then went through a nervous spell towards half time.

Over playing the ball, afraid of making mistakes.

The first goal settled the nerves.

Aberdeen’s only danger came from the missile attacks from free kicks and corners.

That they had an abundance of them was down to the ref’s interpretation of the laws of basketball.
