If Eddie Howe is watching this, he wont touch us with a barge pole !

I see this type of post alot. Do you think it might be possible that a competent and confident manager looking on might equally think ‘I can turn that around’? I’m not sure I would want a manager who thinks improving a team is too much of a challenge.

Quite possibly. A good finisher and served us well but can’t help thinking there’ll be a “what if” over his career – for both club and country.

good effort from the team – enjoyed the dembele cameo although his overly fancy feet flicks could get annoying. team tried to the death tonight. Eddie off the boil but good effort.
the celtic team has had all the guile and conviction coached out of them!
we need a proper coach back asap and a new defense to build from – none of this weak, small, cannae jump pis#

Watching Red TV , they have a Fat Frank McAvennie lookalike on the panel !
Swore I wasn’t watching football until the new season after Sunday. I can’t help myself when it comes to Celtic. Likewise I wasn’t going to be on here.
And I still cannot wait for this season to get as far to f… as possible. Even though I know full well as soon as the season ends I will be champing at the bit for Celtic to play again.

Thought tge Aberdeen pundits were decent enough. Interesting to hear their take on our players. They were remarkably complimentary at times.

If one attempted to distil Brendan’s and Neil’s management approach into one cultural and one tactical line each ….
…. one might come up with
Brendan
– stay relaxed at all times
– rigorous coaching of the specifics
Neil
– get fired up
– limited coaching of the specifics
If we had been able to fuse Neil’s culture with Brendan’s tactics we would have some team.
Instead we got the reverse.
As a result we have a team bereft of energy and direction which looks like it is coming to the end of the line.
Shame.
Hail hail

Why would a young player stay at Celtic?
Dead end of season rubber & the best we can do is give Dembele 10 minutes game time.
Welsh only given chance because Duffy became unplayable (not in a good way) & everyone else had left or was injured.
Two young hungry prospects, Rogic & Griffiths brought off the bench
It’s not just the ESL that is a closed shop…

The complete illustration tonight of a disaffected, disorganised, disgruntled & demotivated squad of players. There is no ‘team spirit’ – it went ‘out the window’ at the start of the season – will we ever know why?
This was supposed to be our history-making season – 10iar and it fizzled out under the first serious challenge for a decade. We went ‘out like a light’ at the earliest opportunity in every competition we entered – a football department ‘strengthened’ by £20m, yet not fit for purpose.
I seen some figures earlier that we win a title under Brendan with 82 points – surely that should convince everyone the last ten years was the easiest time in our history to win trophies.
We start from scratch next season – again another massive challenge, when winning the title will bring a £40m Champions League prize – it is difficult to imagine bring less prepared than we are now.
Away to Ibrox- home to St. Johnstone and away to the Hibbees- I will watch every one of them but I am unsure if it will be pleasant viewing- gonna be a long tough summer

we were absolute dross tonight , worst Celtic performance since Tony Mowbray was the boss

told ya! the only true #9 in our team
Yes Dembele gives us something else on the wings
Should be on the next match.
Yassss. If only he’d been on earlier eh?
Yes Griff scores 30 seconds after CQN , dodgy stream !
FIELD OF DRAMS,
From what I saw at HT,the Huns should have won in a canter.Missed more sitters than we did tonight.
Great result though.
Fine ball to back post from Moi, LG nods home. Celtic are back
Last second equalizer- Griff- we did not deserve to lose but we never looked like putting one of the many chances away
It was a boring game bar a wee cameo from Karamoko
Well done Griff.
Good night all. HH
We deserved an equaliser at least, totally dominated the game.
Stephen Glass trying to tap up Griff on the way off the pitch !
maybe witnessed Leighs last goal for the hoops.
Got back onto hesgoal and was streaming Dons Tv hardly a buffer in sight. Good goal by the Griff
Great goal from Griff.
Nothing game. Kickabout.
Our record against the top half sides must be horrendous this season.
Well done Celtic women’s team.
I think this is the first time I have felt nothing for a Celtic match. And this Celtic da remembers the 90s !
This team doesn’t give a eff so neither do I.
