Biton influence on central mid

768

It wasn’t just the result, which was enormously satisfying, but the manner of Celtic’s performance yesterday was equally gratifying.  We passed with speed and precision, creating space between what was often two blocks of five defenders.  Hearts were in a sorry state but despite enduring the consequences of being unable to pay their dues, they remain considerably more resourceful than many of the lower league teams which have caused Celtic problems in cup competitions in recent seasons.

We finally got to see what the fuss over Nir Biton was all about.  He brought control, time and space to the play.  In particular I liked the way he tried to retain possession.  Hope we see more of him in the weeks to come.

While most attention was drawn to the striker position following defeat to Milan last week, central midfield, bereft of recent departures, the injured and suspended, was just as under-resourced.  The opportunity is there for Biton to grab a place for himself, just as Victor did a couple of years ago.

Bragged how he never officiated a Celtic match as a ref , that Celtic had won.

I don’t know if what he claimed was true, but I did hear him Bragg about it with my own ears.

Afternoon gents, long time lurker, first time poster.

I’m going to use the oft quoted excuse of not being as eloquent as most of the postres on here as my excuse for that!

This post, however, inspired me to post a similar tale about the dirty wee swinesman, John Gilmour, who I used to drink in the same boozer as a good few years ago (the now a chicken cottage Porky’s, in Renfrew).

He had a similar boast, although his was along the lines of Rangers never having lost a game where he was running the line!

    Another example of blatant hunnery!

I’m no a hun, by the way!

    CHAIRBOY(9.44) – FIVE WAY AGREEMENT.

I doubt if the ‘confidentiality clause’ of this so-called ‘agreement’ has any status, unless Regan and Doncaster were given authority from the clubs to make such an ‘agreement’ If they were , we should know. If they weren’t they should be sacked.

See – Jim Tim(10.52) and Auldheid(11.23). I thought that at the A.G.M. we were told that these matters were still open. It would be good to hear on this from one of our legal eagles and even better to hear from the Board.

McCulloch is a reflection on his ilk and employers……….on charitable days you would call them buffoons………generally however you would call them village idiots.

The sevco stats in whatever league they are in have no relevance to anything………Hearts would beat them I’m sure……and they talk about playing us in the SC?
