    Among all of the stupidity on here 2 things stuck out today:

     

     

    1 is we know how influential the mitb can be which shows how poor a ref is Damien thorn when he couldnae punish a wearied Celtic side and ;

    Gerry , I might even have a bottle of beer tonight to celebrate . I live a ‘dangerous’ life.

     

     

    Both of us having tomorrow off is an added bonus after our win today.

     

     

    Junior watched it in the pub as he could not get a ticket and he is still there.

     

     

    My daughter was working in one of the Hampden restaurants today. Her ears were ringing by half six due to all the celebatory singing in it after the game.

    Wake to find the winners are squabbling.

     

    For us of a certain vintage, oul fharts, every win, every trophy, every championship, every Celtic success on or off the field is a reason to celebrate.

     

    Celebrate another win, not just against an agricultural Aberdeen team, but also against an established order which doesn’t understand how we managed to climb out from the lowly place they had set aside for us.

     

    We stand on the shoulders of giants.

     

    Men like my uncle who died this week in his 90s. He was an organizing member of the local supporters club in the early 50s. I remember how he celebrated the 1954 double.

     

    Men like John Oates and other teachers who showed us we could overcome adversity and advance through education.

    Reading back i’am disappointed in several comments but not surprised. As a support we should be celebrating another fantastic achievement but deep inside a lot of us, myself included, still feel cheated and victory in a final or against the hun is hollow. To my mind this will not go away until the board come out with a stance one way or the other.

     

     

    Whatever their decision at least we can stand behind it. In the meantime the hun gets stronger, decisions go their way and we will be left looking over our shoulder.

     

     

    Unfortunately, this site which could unite us is fragmented, dying but nobody has told it yet.

    Just catching up on other fitba’ matters , it seems Bobby Madhun and his linesman ‘missed’ a blatant offside for Morelas which gave Sevco the winning goal to take them temporarily to the top of the league! Wow! Would you bloomin’ believe it!

     

     

    Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the MIB at Motherwell on Wednesday does his damnest to keep them there.

    Its been another very good day for us not even the sevs going top of the league can take away the enjoyment of another cup win .

     

     

    McInnes , despite his backing for Neil Lennon, is unlikeable . He is now having a pop at Mikael for widing up Ferguson near the end of the game. Its funny how he has Wenger like vision when Logan winds up opposition players and fans.

    When I saw Shay Logan get tackled o thought you would have enjoyed that, in a cup final 1-0 is as good as 7-0… me and ma mob had a cracking day, MissGFTB was delighted at my early return … I was just delighted we won, although after Celtic winning the first silverware of the season my congratulations should go to Seethin Gerrard for his title win at tynecastle today
