    See, if the ten’s gone I don’t care about next season either – I’d gie thum that as well, as long as we were preparing properly to rebuild………….I’d like to know what our ambition was going forward.

     

    As a Tim, all I’ve wanted to do was hump and humiliate the huns and hundom…………we’ve done that .

     

     

    I think we are to be twinned with the huns forever and I’d have gladly let them stay dead for the good of Scottish Football.

    Hazard 7 . had done so much right but got spooked again when a sore one was possible

     

     

    Frimpong 4 .

     

    Slow to join the attack and out of position all the time at the back

     

     

    Welsh 8 .

     

    Solid and positionally good. Didn’t get first ball at the goal but not marking him down

     

     

    Duffy 6. Best game so far and a good first half. The ball round him(Soro got it) and the poor defending at the goal blew away his good stuff

     

     

    Laxalt 7

     

    Took the game to them and defended well for most part. The tendency to give away daft free kicks don’t work with this defence

     

     

    Soro 6. Not his best game , too many fouls and out of postion. Duffy/Welsh helped him with brave stepping up

     

     

    McGregor 7. Kept trying to make it happen. Lack of strikers who he could trust to take a pass was a problem

     

     

    Turnbull 6. Controversial score but he put us under pressure several times on the right and we were lucky not to concede. wasted on the right; score 2 mins after getting 10 role

     

     

    Rogic 5

     

    Some nice touches and tried to break the line but second half they walzed past him out of defence every time

     

     

    Johnston 3

     

    Terrible game IMO. didn’t know where he was playing first half and in the second he kept giving it away when we were flat – hence breakaways. Boyle would have killed us if on the pitch

     

     

    Harper3

     

    Wasteful and did not play the role assigned. Cramp too. Annoyed me

     

     

    Oko-Flex 1 – had 30 mins and did zip. Ball kept coming back

     

    Henderson 2 not on long enough

     

    Dembele 2 not on long enough

     

     

    Strachan 7

     

    picked the right formation but i agree with others that horses for courses might have helped e.g. Ralston for Frimpong

    Frimpong is not going to make it at our level.

     

     

    Laxalt is a player and could make it in the right system and coaching setup.

     

     

    Hazard from what I saw had a decent game but threw in his “cannae come for a cross properly” at the worst moment.

     

     

    Rogic…. such a player in there but….

     

     

    Hard to fault the young team / reserves as a few good performances but we should have had enough on the field tonight to take 3 points.

    forgot ralston was on the bench , good shout both Frimpong and Laxalt should have been subbed with Ralston and Taylor to shore up the defence and seen the game out and bank the 3 points.

    Something not right at Celtic Park,I know folks,you’ve heard it a hundred times before, but how the hell can a season take a turn like this one.A disaster in Europe, a relinquishment of the title well before the New Year.

     

    Then we hand the media an absolute gift I.e. our trip to Dubai with all it’s trimmings.The season is all but over,

     

    except our defence of the Scottish Cup.We have had remarkable success recently,no doubt we made quite

     

    a notable size of the Scottish population sick with our success.I do believe,like others, thanks must be extended to those who have been instrumental in bringing silverware in abundance to Celtic Park,however

     

    a new regime must be set in place,with the aim to make us great again.It is an awful scenario when the league

     

    title is taken from us,without a fight,that’s what galls me.So, as usual, I sign off….

    Lubo we need you…interesting article, I bet if you asked every player taking a knee this weekend, very few would be able to explain who Kaepernick is, never mind the challenges he’s faced since making his pre-season point in 2016…

     

    Also refreshing to hear Lyle Taylors views on the PC restrictions on how he refers to his racial background. I hear the same thing from a friend of mine who bristles whenever certain public figures (eg Lewis Hamilton) refer to themselves as black instead of mixed race.

    Thought he should have played Ralston and put Frimpong further forward instead of Harper.

     

    Rogic is as frustrating as Ntcham. You know there is a player in there. Think we need a new broom and a clean slate.

    You don’t have to know who CK is to respect the Civil Rights of a group of people that are still abused and treated like second class citizens in the ‘greatest’ country in the world.

     

     

    If you don’t like taking a knee, fine. Just try not to share your views and convince others there is no value in it.

    So tonight the Referee McLean is a cheat?Well I bet the ones that have cheated us is the board simple as that ,Celtic supporters when nothing goes right for us it’s down to referees,the masons ,get a grip it’s a few in the team and two coaches who have not been good enough,If Peter lawell hads any credibility left he should ask for Neil Lennon and John Kennedy’s resignation to morrow morning and hopefully himself.

    Cannot believe we have mis-managed a dominent situation so badly.

     

    Since start of Season inability to challenge situations which were anti Celtic,allowed the scene to be set,and our detractors comfortable we would not complain.

     

    Apart from Officials,the Boli incident,the Ryan Christie ban,attacks on our players,with no voice raised,I believe gave players the impression they were not properly supported.

     

    Add to that rumours about fitness and tactics,Mgr.not allowed his own.choice of No.2,and you have a scenario that higher Mgmt.should have addressed.

     

     

    Instead of analysing and sorting we threw money at dross and did not extend for quality.

     

    As a Club we have no voice which is heeded,or feared,and a Chairman who.appears indignant to being questioned,about simple matters and is out of his depth by several fathoms.

     

    I now believe that the BR departure was to.an extent manipulated as the aforementioned Higher Management did not like the facts.

     

    And so it came to pass.
