  1. just home after the game and the shambles at Dalmarnock station to allow a group of well supporters onto the train before the queueing Celtic fans,

anyway thoughts post match , we were hopeless today, void of ideas , heading the ball useless , and total lack of creativity in midfield to break down a solid wall and set up well team, 2 pens and we still cant win the game, when we are relying on AR and MJ , who shouldn’t be any where near Celtic Park we are in trouble.

Something must be done to penalise the away team from the constant time wasting and breaking up play , at goal kicks, throw ins , free-kicks , it dosent matter how quickly our ball persons return the ball into play and for the opposition to walk away or turn their backs is unbelievable , refs have to yellow card players as soon as this happens in the opening minutes or it just continues all game , its going to drive people away from attending, the atmosphere today was was like a wake , there was more noise and excitement pre match when the team arrived , with the suspension of the GB we are giving the opposition a lift every game and or own team are not getting the support and atmosphere they need to drive on to win games like todays.

  2. The mere fact that our away support is more vociferous than our home support nowadays makes me think it’ll be an easier away 3 points next week than it was today.

Shoot ourselves in our own foot CAC

The ‘entitled’ who all know best are allowed to wet the bed and rage.

It wasn’t easy today. You will be glad you didn’t take the offer of a ticket up.

We made enough chances to win. Of course the media and malcontents will whip it up to be crisis Celtic because of 3 draws in 14 games. Creating a crisis is the only way their lot can win.

We played a bank of 10 and a goalkeeper and referee suited to the task. We need to be smarter.

We have Maeda Hatate Abada and today A Johnston all missing. The first 3 are gamechangers. If someone had said we would be 9 points clear at this stage I would have taken it. Even allowing for 2 games in hand for that lot.

    Plenty scope to improve though.

So in effect…..we need a Breyer pool of players

who scouted tillio , he is weeer than kemoko demble , FFS.

    Liked what I saw

  7. I see Frimpong who was roundly derided

on here as not being good enough back in 2019 scored and his Bayer L team went top in Germany again today.

Never really got why our support chose to abuse him when the came to play us in the Europa league a couple of years ago.

  8. zero atmosphere, zero game management, a lot worse than the St Johnstone game.

zero understanding of the changes and the timing of the changes on my part.

would rather see Michael Portillo come on than Mikey Johnstone.

has there ever been a worse left side of the pitch than Taylor + MJ ?

    totally and utterly pissed off.

hoping that this will all pass and that its me who has to get a grip but not seeing it right now.

def not looking forward to the Lazio game and feel sorry for my son who is travelling from Dubai to Rome for the game. will he ever see a result in a euro away game ? not this year anyway.

  9. would like to have seen oh and Kyogo start – esp when we have 80% possession. Also, consider Palma as a 10 – he was the only player looking for a reverse pass or lob into strikers. This team lacks decisiveness the way Ange teams played.

I’ve been watching Kyogo making run after run after run and he must be absolutely demoralized – what’s the point? if we are not using that asset then start with Oh until the game opens up.

Rangers play that tactic very well – right and left full backs instantly whip balls across the box – they score from headers or rebounds but constantly pressure the box. We pass back and forth out side the box – until 20mins panic set in and we send hopefuls in.

finally, greg Taylor as a defender = NO. Greg Taylor as a first team inside left for Celtic = NO

  10. we could be still be playing and would still be passing sideways and backwards , rinse and repeat and not score a goal from open play today

  11. one thing that cannot be denied and cannot be attributed to me being a greetin faced bassa – our ability to manage all set pieces/set plays for and against is farcical. I’d rather we just quickly gave the ball to the opposition than have to endure our throw ins. And can anybody tell me just what Oh is trying to achieve by standing next to their keeper when he’s going to release the ball ?

  12. onenightinlisbon on

Rodgers mark 2 = Rodgers Mark one (at the end of his time)

Boring, predictable, slow, no end product.

    This will not end well.

  13. Celtic appointed Neil Lennon we are going for the 10 ,he makes a complete mess of things, players down tools after he made remarks about some players wanting to leave, what a poor excuse for your poor management, and guess what Sevco stop the 10,personally I feel the same could happen under Brendan Rogers ,like Lennon he is back for a second term ,I think that was a mistake but we are stuck with him,I’ll finish with this everytime we come back from a international break we struggle to win games ,dissapointed with a draw this afternoon, players can be good one week then the next week some are not up to it I’m not singling out any of our players this afternoon, hopefully we can come good and win all our remaining games .

  14. if OH is the answer , then heaven help us and big Joe is playing for his pension a bomb-scare with his charging out from his goal and staying on his line at corners , for a guy at his height and build he looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights and reluctant to get involved with the big bruisers in the SPL at corners .

  15. How to stop teams playing negative, 10 men behind the ball, going for a draw, utterly boring football.

Big Jock, back in the day, suggested, instead of penalties after a drawn tie, just count who had the most corners. This would prove which team was trying to play attractive trying to win football, as opposed to negative, horrible to watch playing for a draw football. In effect, banish draws of any kind.

If that was in vogue, Murderwell would have come to play proper football today, and it would have been much more entertaining, with 3 points in the bag for us

Dreadful performance. Created next to nothing. Is it the players or the manager? There is something wrong at the club. Right now with referees assisting I could see us being behind in the new year.

    Spot on

Why oh why has Brendan played Kyogo in a deeper role?

Clearly this is not his strength. He is a penalty box striker.

We could have played for hours without scoring with that set up.

    MJ’s time is up too.

Winning the league is no stick on now. Sadly.

  17. said the same re Kyogo as OH , why stand in front of the opposition goalie , only gives the keeper an excuse to waste even more time, time it was stopped.

  18. Last week, Palma hits the bye line….we win…this week…..let’s keep trying to pass through 10 men…why?

*that was Sir Bob’s first proposal to counteract the toss of the coin after a stalemate in European tourneys, we already used taht in the Glasgow Cup but NOT I believe in the Charity Cup

  20. There were folks on here earlier predicting 6-0, 3-0 etc; They need to get a grip and face reality.

  21. TONTINE TIM

    I stand corrected.

Never knew the idea had been used at any level

Still think it’s a good idea

    I predicted 7-0

With the amount of possession I underestimated what it SHOULD have been

  23. Sadly we don’t have a goalkeeper or Hart wouldn’t be playing .

Hatate is a big miss .

Surely today we could’ve played Kyoto and Oh up front together,3 at the back AR ,CCV,LS.

Never mind still leading the league

Remember 1966/67 Dundee United beat us twice HH
