One thing is for sure, nobody will really remember this game in a year’s time.
In the pre Internet days, you might have listened out for the result on the radio and thought ‘Oh. Celtic won 3-0. Sort of sounds a reasonable performance’.
Had Sevco won 3-0, we wouldn’t be criticising them so much. Quite ironic.

Pleased for Neil and the team today.
A few thoughts on the bickering that has been going on in the blog:
Some of the criticism of the manager since Wednesday has been very personal and abusive. Neil risked his life to play for and manage Celtic and for a few of us that leads to an automatic instinct to defend him when he is being attacked.
Now I wouldn’t have played Christie as striker on Wed either but at the end of day who really gives a toss about the Champions League anyway? We’re never going to win it and the competition (like football in general) is pretty much riddled with corruption.
To be honest I don’t particularly care for football nowadays, there was a time I would watch MOTD and other live games not featuring Celtic but now i can’t stomach it as it is increasingly a front for sportswashing.
For those of you who are expending a lot of energy getting worked up about what formation the manager plays, relax, we’ve won everything for years and will probably do so again this year.
And even if we don’t there are far more important things going on the world that you should be getting angry about.

Actually, loads of us. We all know we won’t win it but if we qualify for the group stages we get £30m + and the opportunity to see some great teams at Celtic Park. Many of our fans enjoy attending the away legs too and making friends in lots of European cities.

Was pretty pea’d off the other night. Almost like Neil Lemon thought all we had to do was turnip and we’d go through.
Happy we finally got strikers onto our field. Pepper-ing them with shallots on goal is just radish if we don’t have a suede like Henke to finish them off.
Lettuce hope that NFL and the bean counters take note.
(I’ll get ma coat, hand myself in, and ask to be red carded….sine die!)
