At half time, Beelin Boyd was saying that celtics goal should have been disawolled for handball….Kris Commons then asked him….” Maybe the Ref didnt see it” ?
Boyds reply was…” IT DOESNT MATTTER”……So this so called Expert Pundit was saying that a ref should make a decision on something that he NEVER saw ?
This clown is getting paid big bucks for that “Expert Opinion” ???

I think that’s debatable , what’s not debatable is that the scouse rookie manager has found a way to dominate us in the last two meetings . Lenny needs to reassert our dominance . If he can’t do that with a better squad , then we can ask questions.

I seem to remember we were mostly pleased with signings in the summer window.
What’s gone wrong?
Big Jimmy – Boyd was saying “it didn’t matter” as far as the result goes. He is adamant reft saw it, which I think he did too. Ref got it right however, nothing OE could have done.
As far as the rest of his comments go, he hates us and loves them. No pretence to neutrality, no class.
Where does the idea of their dominance arise?
I believe we had more possession.
More attempts at goal.
More corners.
Two attempts cleared off their line.
A missed penalty.
Broony needs some support in the middle of the park.
Christie made no impact, either in ball winning or in creating openings.
James made no effort to provide support for Frimpong.
Boli always looked vulnerable. There seems to be a case for Taylor or Hayes.
Where to from here?
Where do we find someone to give Brown support?
How do we get into James’ head and motivate him to get more involved?
How do we instill the desire to win every ball and every personal challenge?
Disappointed yet not surprised.

You are 100% Correct…His ugly Mug showed complete anger and bitterness at half time, due to the fact that Celtics goal stood.
His claim that the Ref should make decisions on what they DON’T see just sums him up. In real time it was difficult for ANYONE to see the ball coming off of Eddys hand….Which he knew nothing about.
Boyd went on about the Huns being the victims yet again of poor Ref decisions including in The League Cup Final…..I wonder what Boyds thoughts are on the OFFSIDE Winning goal that Morelos scored in midweek v Kilmarnock…strangely enough he didnt mention that wrong decision.
I dont know what Kents celebrations was about….as for the Ugly Kid Moreloes….and his “Cut Throat” gestures….will they be in the Refs Report or the 4th Officials Report ?

Sorry but you are wrong….Boyd said that at half time as a REPLY to Commons point that “Maybe the Ref did NOT see the ball hitting Eddys hand”….early in the 2nd half even Andy Walker stated that the Ref PROBABLY thought the ball came off of Eddys side …in real time ?

Today they were woeful.
GG – we d were at home. Our first shot on goal was the missed penalty after 35 mins of doing absolutely nothing of note in the final third.
Our possession was in our own half. Edouard was a spectator for the whole of 1st half.
We were poor. Stats don’t tell the real story of today.
