  1. phoned 5 live to ask why they are talking about Rangers as Rangers are dead, they aretalking about a company who are not members of the sfa, a member of an league and don’t have enough playersto field a team tomorrow!

Might get a call back, but probably not as it looks like i’m off message, but we’ll see!

  2. Watched some of Sally’s interview on hun TV.

I get the impression Longmuir might be a mason.

And ‘Charles and the boys’, what’s that all about?

  3. The SFL vote next week could be a close one. A fair few clubs have already come out against the proposal and others will be under heavy pressure. I’m sure that directors will be receiving phone calls over the weekend.

Anyone with friends who support SFL teams should Be getting them to send in messages asking their club to do the right thing. Fan power can make a difference.

And I’m just waiting on a statement from Spartans and others asking how they apply to join the SFL.

According to the Daily Record website,”Rangers” are alive and well and are still playing in the SPL.

They still can’t get over it.

    It’s all over now Jabba.

    Let it go.

    Yo-ho-ho!!

Rangers operated an illegal scam then registered players incorrectly to hide this scam from the authorities.

I have heard some (them) say that EBTs were declared on their annual accounts.

    Is this so?

  6. Good morning CQNers,

You’ve gotta say that Neil Doncaster and Stewart Regan have totally mishandled the Rangers situation. They’ve known of the possibility of Rangers going into liquidation for some considerable time but by all accounts they only started to consider a contingency plan in April, then they kept it secret.

Events have overtaken Regan and Doncaster and nothing highlights their incompetent handling of the Rangers insolvency more that their unpreparedness of the phenomenon of supporter-power and the internet bampots. They thought they could ignore it and use the Daily Record as the conduit for their media blitz; it was as if the DR was seconded into the SPL’s media dept. How wrong could they be?

Regan and Doncaster’s had plenty of opportunity to investigate and censure Rangers but they, like their predecessors, have chosen to turn a blind eye. They are culpable and must be removed from their positions immediately.

The only bright spot of the whole debacle are the Scottish football blogs, in general, and Celtic blogs specifically who have to be commended for bring football back to the people.

The accounts disclose payments from t6he huns to the trustees.

The accounts don’t show what the trustees did with the money. They don’t show that the trusts were being used to pay wages. They don’t show that the players had dual contracts.

I’m hoping that in due course all those involved will be put on trial for conspiracy to commit fraud.

@mdkster: So Kilmarnock’s fans voted ‘yes’ to Newco in the SPL? “@bbcsportsound: Johnston defends newco abstention:

Thats not correct, Johnshun said that the majority of SHAREHOLDERS and SEASON TICKET HOLDERS voted yes, they ignored the fans who were neither because it looks like that would have been a majority saying no to a newco!

  9. macjay1 for Neil Lennon on

BBC Scotland has learned that 10 of the 12 clubs were in opposition, with Kilmarnock abstaining and Rangers voting in favour.

I wouldn’t like to see Celtic supporters bhoycott games at Kilmarnock or anywhere else next season.

    It’s a fresh start.

Kilmarnock’s day is coming soon anyway, and it will be of their own making.

  14. Decent discussion regarding a Newco & Rangers of radio 5 live. Nicky Campbell, Gordon Smith, Graham Spiers & Michale Kelly. A lot of myths dispelled – Rangers have not been banned or demoted as they no longer exist. UEFA / SPL rules are being implemented – no financial records -no european football. Gordon Smith was arguing that the club had been punished enough. Some one called in and stated that The Rangers can’t have it both ways – they either admit they are a New club with no history or they keep the history and take punitive sanctions and pay back every penny they owe the caller ripped into Smith with regards to the titles and cups won through ‘cheating’.

Kelly is a total unlce Tim arguing that The Rangers should be playing in the SPL or division 1.

I guess one has to get ouside Scotland to have a truely open debate.

I disagree mate, I would favour a boycott of match 1 Killie v CFC if Johnston is still in power – the Killie fans have come out in the social media to demand his resignation. If they mean it they can achieve it. If they achieve it then it is a fresh start and no to boycott. Let him go and work directly for Sevco along with Jim Ballantyne.
