If the statement by Inverness chairman Kenny Cameron was utterly bizarre, St Mirren’s Stewart Gilmour explains so much about Scottish football. 10 days after Gilmour voted to refuse Sevco a parachute into the top flight of the game, he accused Scottish Football League clubs of doing damage to Scottish football by standing shoulder-to-shoulder with him in refusing to promote Sevco into an unearned higher league.
He told the Paisley Daily Express: “To be fair to Stewart Regan, the document he released last week was a good document.
“It set out changes to Scottish football that would bring in a fairer structure, fairer distribution system, fairer everything.
“Unfortunately, the people in the SFL have not bought into that. I just hope they realise the damage they have done to Scottish football.”
“The damage they have done to Scottish football”!
This guy is hilarious! ‘Do as I say, not as I do’ has never been more animated.

Saw your post just after midnight.
Looking forward to that coffee!
Take care.
Back after 2 weeks in Donegal, and one of the best trad sessions I’ve been at. No laptop connection in the cottage, just three stations on an old TV. Missed CQN and have spent a day catching up. Unbelieveable stuff, and it is still running!!
Dundee Utd say no to a newcohuns for the second time as do Hearts.
Why does raygun bother?
Claimed the magic number 7 spot again -happy days :-)
Dino , 19:50
Alex Thomson asked them to clarify the license issue and they said It’s not a new license but a transfer.
philbhoy,
the day of the title flag being unfurled by Sean Fallon looks like a good day
hail hail
Canamalar
you like saying that thingy about that ex club that is under investigation for corruption etc, dont ya
CANAMALAR
Not really had much chance to have a blether with you lately, old bean, but ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED to read that you are back in the fold, and have bought a season ticket again.
I hope you enjoy every single minute, but, knowing you, you’ll be on here bemoaning the absence of our neighbours.
Or maybe not!
Enjoy,you deserve that at least.
Just logging on after the hangover from hell,
can anyone help me out, brother text to say there is a chance
of sevco being asked to join the SPL,any truth in the story
Paul 67
This lot are not going to accept their fate
as they have been bleating on for days.
They need to be told
Hear the message loud and clear.
Scottish football does not want or need you.

Most Rangers fans I know have given up and accepted it,albeit they are bearing a grudge.
I suspect that the source of that story hasn’t got that far yet.

My family is Irish with a long Celtic connection. My old dad knew Sean Fallon quite well and if i can make the Aberdeen game it wollud be great to meet up.
What is the Stars, 20:41
In the words of a former manager (EBTs, oh yes) of the former team – ‘major fraud at Rangers’.
O.G.Rafferty
is that the “nuclear” story?
Bizzare or what?Only in Scottish football.
OG
Is that a BIG og fae big barrhead fella?
Just back from a long day umpiring local cricket – left the house at 11am –
So some SPL club chairmen are pointing to the SFL blaming them for the impending demise of the SPL – pathetic – get their own house in order – the huns are gone – live with it
BMCUW,
cheers for the reply,
i could not bear with the SPL manipulating
things to let them into the top league
hi, cheeky I know… any links to the Haye-Delbhoy fight?
Sorry ghuys lfor repeating
Does anyone know why Andy Mcinnes doesnt feature in the Express ?.
He used to be the Sports Editor
When Gordon Smith was espousing his utter nonsense
about XRFC reaching 4 european finals he failed to mention
that their last 2 finals resulted in mass arrests and were a national
disgrace to Scotland.
OG..,
didnt Alex T.., find out they never qualified for a license last season
wits,
I like it cause its true, they are alive and no so well :o)
BMCW,
its been a long time, ticket no in the hip yet, just hoping I can get close to my old seal, but no fussed, I hear they’re doing good corporate deals :o)
Was on twitter, I get back in a minute, new on twitter and not very good at it.
Canamalar
Not sure about the “they are alive” bit
I cant see them playing any football anywhere next year,
What a shame
BOBBY MURDOCH’S CURLED-UP, had to give the Paisley Patter’ its place.
Gordon64, I believe the penny has dropped at Ibrox. Thoughts have moved onto ‘what now?’
http://t.co/gD4i90WS
Hope this works O.G scroll past the pictures
For me there are 2 distinct battles to be won
1. Keeping Newco out of the SPL and into D3 – won
2. Stripping Oldco of their tainted titles and silverware – work in progress – pressure still needs to be kept on SPL and SFA (what a pathetic shower they are)
Paul67 et al
St Mirren? Is that the club that sold its’ famous old ground and yet somehow ended up worse off than it was before? Strange that! Rangers FC damaged Scottish Football, and they did it with the help of the Bank of Scotland, the SPL, and in particular the SFA. No other club in Scotland has damaged football, indeed the vast majority of clubs have shown that they value sporting integrity, unlike the former tenants at Ayebroke. Anybody who misses a visit from the hordes, for any reason, needs their head examined.
CANAMALAR
Corporate,is it,eh?
By jings,there’s nothing worse than a convert,right enough………

Sorry to hear about Father Calum. He was a real star of “An Island Parish” who always seemed to have a glint in his eye. I think he probably had a great life.

Do you think this years transfer targets have changed due to what happened or is its case of selling now to balance the books oh and while we’re on the subject do you know if Rhodes is a target??
Oh Dear -all getting embarassing now – the last desperate death rattle from the severely deluded..
