With a moniker like yours I don’t think you have any moral high ground from which to refer to someone else’s opinion as ‘disgusting’.

If he criticised the McCann’s for leaving their young children unsupervised, in a foreign country, at night then he might just have a valid point.

I think you provided the conclusive answer.

We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Mr Keane, and to everyone who has followed.

Lisbon 2017 would have been a hollow celebration-at best!-had we gone out of business and reformed. The last twenty years, our stadium, the stars who have continued to walk through Parkhead’s Gates, widnae have happened.

Aye,my grateful thanks to that fine fine Celt. He might be as important as Jock Stein,Stevie Chalmers, mibbe even Brother Walfrid himself.

Without the first two, well. Without the latter,no Celtic at all.

    And without John Keane,same result.

    Hail hail,fine Celt.

When I challenged him on it yesterday-didn’t like his choice of moniker, but it IS his choice-his reply was…

It was either that or Kingsmill Toast.

Aye. Seriously. You can defend that by whtaboutery all you like, though I doubt you will. That comment, and those sentiments, not for me.

  10. IMHO,if we had say, bought Ajer in the Transfer Window for around 8 million, and he had played as he has played ,in his first two games,I would think we would be raving about him.I think this boy has it all.Skill, athleticism, passing ability, confidence, and at 6 foot 5,a fair chance of winning most duels in the air.

There are a couple of brothers, that come out every summer,Tims, but Killie ST holders,I know. When Ajer was at Killie,I was asking them what they thought of him,and they never stopped raving about how good he was. They were desperate to get him on loan again this season.

I dont think they raved enough about him.

  12. CLOGHERCELT,

Just a wee bit if information. I would encourage anybody to visit the Imperial War Museum in the Salford Quays, a wee walk from Old Trafford. The last thing it does is celebrate war.

It was a great six days, mate. Absolutely marvellous. And your company was greatly appreciated indeed.

My Dad and I were packing for the flight home,he was concerned my bag was too heavy for carry-on luggage.

I said,so what? It can go in the hold if necessary beside my liver. Took me a fortnight to dry out. And I’d to drive him to Bristol Airport next day on a bliddy Bank Holiday.

  17. January to May will be interesting in terms of the development of our younger players.

Assuming a gap opens up then the risk of bloodying youngsters lessens in terms of lost points if not broken limbs.

The lads who have been introduced all have a high skill level, but the strength and athleticism to compete against the very best comes with experience and physical maturity (Ralston being a bit of an exception and I hope he makes a comeback soon).

This will mean supporters dropping old ideas about multi million buys, partly because even Man Utd have been priced out of the very best market, but also because evidence suggests we can grow our own.

But to grow the best of your own you need a good gardener and we have one now. As long as BR hangs around and loves the garden we need not worry about the best fruit being sold on when they mature.

As BR says we have a moral obligation to cut them loose or as the saying goes – “if you love someone let them go.”

Man Utd being priced out,Mourinho pointing out that £300m isn’t enough,it would make you weep.

He has a point, because I personally believe that Ferguson’s greatest achievement was winning the title in his last season. Wi THAT team.

It badly needed rebuilding. Instead it got rebuilt badly. Too many sticking plasters at huge cost, not enough proper quality.

    Aye,there’s yer £300m dinner,right there.

The January window is on the horizon, its full of eye-watering figures for nonentities. No way we can live with that. I’m still swithering about £7m for Oddsonne, ffs

And no wonder,a huge investment for us.

    But…

Is it a step up to the next level? Buy for peanuts, get £12m if we’re lucky. A Moussa, double that.

    (And usually nothing,btw)

We buy at £7m,we expect say £30m after his two years as our signed player?

Our scouts have been pretty good so far,but if Odsonne is the new level, they need to step up a bit too. Interesting times,or a false dawn,we will soon see.

  21. Finally, I have my new ( reconditioned) computer up and running in the last 30 minutes or so. It runs by windows 7, and I have a new monitor.

Sadly I can not find a volume control anywhere on my monitor, can anyone advise if I can set the volume thru the “Control Panel” on my computer itself ?

I would also like to thank all on here for wishing me better health yesterday on here.

I have had a chest and stomach infection for weeks now, which is made worse with my disabilities.

I still feel unwell, but I have to visit the doc tomorrow anyway.

So thanks to all well wishers.

Hi Bobby – agree. Hanging a fellow human out to dry, knowing full well what they scumbags are capable of.

And on a similar theme – “Kingsmill Toast” ?

Dearie me – a supposed Celtic fan having a laugh about the murder of civilians just because of their religion (irrespective of the retaliatory nature of the attack). That is also beneath contempt.

Happy New Year when it comes. I notice you didn’t approve my rebuttal a few days ago,not surprised.

Today’s article would have been better without the outing of sources, what use is an olive branch if you batter someone to death with it?

I think you have put Jim Spence in a bad place, and he has lost a lot through his bravery.
