Foregone conclusion territory

1955

I don’t know about you but practically every football thought I have at the moment is connected to where we go next. The small matter of winning the league title has slipped into ‘foregone conclusion’ territory, which is always dangerous.

The players will be no different from the rest of us, but they will have more on their minds. A change of manager is likely to mean a new system, and new squad requirements. They need to focus on making the best of the next five games. One thing that has been reassuring this week is Ronny Deila’s comments. His professional pride is clear; he’ll apply himself fully to the task in hand until the end of the season.

Eyes on the task of winning the league, as soon as possible.

The sfa, spl, spfl and two lots of huns were party to the 5WA.

As far as I am aware that is a proven fact.

The boards of each of these bodies were party to the agreement and any agreement will have had to be approved and signed off by the respective boards of these bodies, else there wouldn’t have been an agreement.

A director of Celtic, Eric Riley was on the spl board, no agreement on behalf of the spl could have been made without said directors knowledge.

These are simple facts, and I fully understand that the hun was never just going to die, there was and is far too much money involved for that to happen.

Maybes Pedro wasn’t party to drawing up any agreement, maybes Eric Riley wasn’t party to drawing up the agreement, but as sure as eggs are eggs they knew what was in the agreement and the club would have agreed to it, to suggest otherwise is taking the piss.

There’s loads of bars within a 10 min walk from lime Street that show live footy.

I don’t believe our game is on TV though.

City Centre before the match. Maybe Counting House? If you are up for it I will buy you lunch and ales. :)

  7. Looking good with 30 minutes left. Sheep penned it. Dreadful decision to disallow goal.

  8. Winning Captains: Your idea of Peter Lawell meeting a cross section of the bhlog is a very good idea. May I respectfully suggest though that PL be accompanied by at least two other board members. That way bhloggers would get a broader view of what the board’s views/intentions are.

  9. Celtic v Ross County not on TV, the Hertz game following Saturday at 12.30 is on and we can win the League there.

How’s this for a name drop? Twenty seven years ago I drove Jim Craig to McDairmid Park to talk to Alex Totten…time flies eh?

Brilliant footage of Prince. He was a talent. Sad loss. How come Kayne West walks this earth?

    Cruel world this is.

The Dons collapse continues. Good enough for McInnes.
