Foregone conclusion territory

1955

I don’t know about you but practically every football thought I have at the moment is connected to where we go next. The small matter of winning the league title has slipped into ‘foregone conclusion’ territory, which is always dangerous.

The players will be no different from the rest of us, but they will have more on their minds. A change of manager is likely to mean a new system, and new squad requirements. They need to focus on making the best of the next five games. One thing that has been reassuring this week is Ronny Deila’s comments. His professional pride is clear; he’ll apply himself fully to the task in hand until the end of the season.

Eyes on the task of winning the league, as soon as possible.

It’s been so long and spellcheck does the work for me now so I don’t give a flying feck .. :-)

  2. Hun ref trying his best to no avail…………….

St.J hit bar – then scored – 2nd chalked off as Dons GK tripped over his own defender – St.J score to make it 2-0 and had a good shout for a pen all before ht.

Anyone think McInnes looks like Plug’s brother (out the Bash Street Kids) when he purses his lips?

    I agree re your point

£1m CEO in a £75m turnover business is unusual. As an accountant PL should be on to that, as a Celtic supporter he should be appalled.

I’ve said it before – ok I work in NHS and public sector is different gig but CEO in my organisation manage £1bn/ year. Have 15000 staff and take ultimate responsibility on a daily basis for life and death decisions by ensuring corporate governance. They are also hung out to dry by politicians and media the 1 at time they get it wrong.

CEO of Celtic isn’t the hardest £1m/ year job out there..

Think along the lines of prize money for 2014/15 ,£1,437,000 and we pay £500,000 as a bonus to the CEO!

I know that it is a bit early for music but I am a sucker for sheer raw talent.

I often claim to have only one skill in life (no arguing at the back!) which is my own ability to really love seeing and appreciating the talent that lies in others.

Seriously, I am as happy as a pig in shit when I see other folk who have an amazing talent to do things I can’t.

So, here is a wee video piece which shows someone with oodles of talent.

This is a talent that I have not always appreciated but I was sent this video today and was blown away by the musicality, the personality, the humour warmth and just all round ability of the guy.

    God bless him.

  17. Winning Captains,

We should have a chat. Regarding Celtic FC you don’t take a break.

Budget several multiples higher than Lawwell in a FTSE 100

Disgusted by Lawwell and those afraid to call him out.
