I am sure we will see a full strength Celtic team against Inter Milan tomorrow but that doesn’t mean Celtic will be able to overturn their summer form against what will be the best squad of players they have met since facing the same team in the Dublin Cup almost exactly a year ago. Inter will be formidable opponents.
The experimentation of recent weeks will be set aside as Neil Lennon prepares for next week’s enormously important Champions League qualifying game against HJK Helsinki. In particular, we are likely to see a more familiar looking back four and midfield. What happens up front remains to be seen. Celtic have struggled to get into scoring form preseason; the manager will be keen to resolve this, if possible.
Most of all we need a 90 minutes free of elbows in the face and other injuries as the real stuff is only five days away.

Only allowed to play maximum of two trialiists, according to STV. Even then it’s farcical – Stack, formerly of Hibernian wants to play too. Pathetic individual.
That team updated then.

2. Young player

BBC say ‘no confirmation of license to play’. Temporary license reporting premature.

I can only imagine your interpretation of my use of the word able lead to your response. Maybe I was ambiguous but it was intended to describe people not currently in a position to get out of the situation they find themselves in. Not that they do not have ability just that circumstances prevent them often through no fault of their own.
In my view society is there to enable people to get out of trouble, like through the welfare state and NHS.
Stunned you took the view you did from the post.

Should the daft wee potential division 3 team be allowed to play Brechin City are 7/1 to beat them.
Form:
Brechin won last game.
sevco fc have never won a game in their history.

All we want is for thems to play in accordance with the rules
FFS what’s the problem with that

Interesting odds
How good a team can sevco field ?
Kojo:
If an Alpha Wolf, that is faster, stronger, smarter and of course generally superior than other wolves somehow randomly steps on a small stone and twists its knee and falls to its injury and finally dies…does that mean it is inferior to the other wolf’s because they accidentally avoided that small stone?
Is the world you populate devoid of the consequences of external causes?
Surely the power of the secret handshake won’t be able to pull the burning hun-carcass from the fire’s of hell ?
P.S. Snake
I live in a dark place a lot of the time, I know that CQNer’s will vouch for my dark post’s on here most of the time.
I have a tendency for jumping head first into the – CQN ring and jousting with some of the sharpest tool’s you’ll find in Timdom’s box.
Although, most of the time I have to retreat with my tail between my leg’s….there are times when I feel that I have rattled the cage of the – Celtic Happy Clapper’s and put a different slant on some stuff.
It gives me a boost to know that I have put my self onto the CQN stage and, at least caused a ripple.
Snake, I know that you’re in a different league all together and, it’s ghreat news to know that – mere mortal’s like me can continue to keep tabs on yer stuff :0)))

There should be no game in Brechin this week end.
Brechin should then claim compensation from the SFL/SFA, for expenses occurred.
As stated, what is the point, football wise, of granting a temp licence, unless they intend to ratify it.
If Brechin loseand they subsequently fail to get the licence( aye, right), do City get reinstated?
They are descending deeper into the mire with each sordid twist.
One bright spot is that all this pantomime should strengthen Celtic’s case for escaping.

From their first game til their last I will always say their team is no good but from what I gather the daft wee potential division 3 club only have kids and the dregs of what was once rangers.
7/1 is good, though referee George Salmond is an unknown quantity to me.

……this Saturday see’s my other club, Wick Academy, host Raith Rovers in the Ramsden Cup, R1.
Academy (founded in 1893) who were accepted into the Highland League in 1994, gained entry into the tournament this year by “….being one of the top two SFA-licensed sides – mainly thanks to three years hard work off the park….”
Win, lose or draw. All involved with the club can hold their heads high this weekend and take a bow, which is more than a lot of clubs can do these days.
Go scorries !!!

Surely it would be inappropriate if they were to turn out on Sunday with the old RFC(IA) kit on?

Yup. Because obviously the Yemen is a beacon of capitalism, market forces, and property rights. Evil top-hatted capitalists must be at work, somehow. Nothing to do with it being a failed society controlled by squabbling clans of Islamic medievalists.
Come to the blog late and grateful to have missed your usual apologia for a bankrupt economic system – bankrupt in the literal sense of the word, as well as morally.
One question – why, in the above rant, introduce religion by using the word ‘Islamic’? Seems utterly irrelevant to the points you try to make.
A bit like reading a court report and finding halfway down: “Philvis, a Catholic, then went on to….”
Sorry meant to say – really would like an answer to the above. No-one speaking to me?

@STVGrant if Sevco win on Sunday but are subsequently denied a permanent membership will Brechin take their place in the cup?

No-one knows. There’s speculation that HMRC are keeping a watching brief as if they take the field wearing the strip, the badge and referring to themselves as Rangers, a dim view will be taken speeding their liquidation and demise. So the answer to your question is probably that they will wear blank blue tops, blank shorts and yes, it would be inappropriate otherwise. Let’s face it though, nothing would surprise us.
Brechin move to DEFCON 4
