Unfortunately, it’s the same scouting network that has let us down previously other than the much-maligned Hammond has gone and not been replaced.
So much for a great reset.
Very worrying the names being linked with us at present. It would appear that the change of manager has failed to bring about a change in approach to transfers. Ange will be dead in the water if this is the “plan”.
It baffles me that we cannot spot a player.
We sign players that we can see over a few games that they are duds .
Does our goalkeeper coach ,dont laugh ,have the last word on signings
Does our defence coach ,don’t laugh,have the last word on signings.
Etc Etc

Its getting close to the time in the season when P67 writes the “Its so difficult to sign players these days” article.
Expectation management usually gets serious round about now.
My nightmare scenario is that the mismanagement of the playing squad continues Ange eventually walks or gets sacked due to a run of dreadful results and we end up with Kennedy again. I don’t know whether Ange is the right choice for the job but the board are certainly not helping him.
Is it true that Saturday was the first time we lost an opening league game for about 50yrs?
The board will feel the heat this season with us being back in the ground.
That may work against us if Ange himself becomes a target.
How the hell did we end up here?

Go get Nisbett and Doig from Hibs, they know the scottish game and no isolating/quarantine.

A few things could be at play here
A we don’t have a proper scouting network but we’ve just found NL’s scrap paper with transfer targets or PL black book of retirement plan transfer possibilities
Or the SMSM and more than a few “Celtic “ fan sites are just guessing and using old targets (who may or may not have been in the list) because they think that what’s available
Agents testing the water whether a) the club or b) the fans (amount of social media trending) are positive about it.
Hart while undoubtedly an improvement would either be short term, loan or two year deal, big investment for short term gain
McCarthy, if he was fit and robust enough, even at his age, would be getting better wage offers than he would with us, risk that we’d need to manage
Leftfield question — do we pay agents to help us get players in?
Do we pay agents to help us get players out?
The player will look after their own agent.
So do we as a club employ agents to get stuff done?
Chatter from a couple of sources would suggest that we do.

SMSM print complete bollocks from agents linking Celtic to their players as a way of getting publicity for their player and the SMSM use this to destabilise the club and get the support questioning everything from transfers to the state of the toilets
