  1. Philbhoy – how do I know its “possible” ? cause its possible doh

I’m not happy with the way the club is run – we have projects all over the place. The standards set by BR have dropped significantly, the recruitment policy has been nothing short of shambolic.

The only made up pish as you put it – is our team!

  2. onenightinlisbon on

Just listened to Lennon’s post match interview with the BBC. Thought the game was “exciting”,… “we lacked hunger”…..No blame on himself for the team/tactics/substitutions. Rudderless on the park, at managerial level and in the boardroom.

  3. Nice to see the Huns owe 9.7 million in tax.

Could we bring Hector in as Manager?

Or someone who might publicly criticise this?

  4. I used to deliver to the new bolton wanderers ground at horwich, its in a liesure park, i also used to deliver near the old burnden park in bolton ,you could put them together and they would still fit into parkhead, neil luv ya to bits, but you will never ever get a job as big as being boss at parkhead ,another true story.H.H.

  5. THE HUDDLE

With Brown as his number 2.

    ===================

Disney read right, if you see what I mean.

  6. If we gift Sevco an easy run to the CL, a £9m tax-bill won’t be the end of the world.

This season is massive….even beyond the ten.

  7. DAVID66 on 21ST NOVEMBER 2020 7:16 PM

Maybe. Even a fresh voice and ideas….the players have gone stale and that won’t change with this manager.

  8. Markiebhoy

My son runs his own business and if he falls behind with vat returns then they are all over him. Seems like newclub has an understanding with the taxman.

  9. the lack of desire/emotion and meekly accepting the performance during the match from our dugout is frightening and embarrassing and the same from the players on the park during the game .

  10. Gene

Yep – but the imporatance of their being something called “Rangers”

for the faithful to follow seems to be above every rule or law.

  11. Everything comes to an end.

We have had 9 good years the past 4 have been terrific. We have had an invincible Season are on the cusp of clinching a quadruple of Trebles, 12 Consecutive Trophies, never done before, probably will never be done again.

Players like Brooney & CalMac were driving forces in achieving that success,

Right now it looks like they have run out of road and to be honest the signs were there last year.

Forster won us many a game last year & his absence has really been felt this year.

Unfortunately the players we brought in this year have in the main failed to impress.

Barkas, Duffy, Ajeti,Turnbull & to a lesser extent Elyounoussi failed to impress.

The only one of the 6 that has been a clear success has been Laxalt.

As already mentioned Brooney & CalMac have been shadows of the players they were last Season and worse of all our marquee player Eddie has been very poor.

We have been hit with Covid, injuries to key players, a host of International games where 2 or 3 times more Celtic Players than any other Club have been involved.

The wheels have come off and right now things are not looking good for this year.

Tearing each other apart on these pages will achieve nothing, if this is the end of our run than so be it.

The players who gave us all those good times will always be heroes to me and I will not indulge in putting the boot into them now that things are going wrong.

Even if the Huns win the League, there are 3 Cups out there to be won and we have as good a chance as any to get our hands on them.

If Lenny goes shortly so be it but if not he certainly should go at end of Season.

    We then start again,

  12. we have wasted more on a goalie and a centre forward during the last transfer window than them’s owe in tax,

    criminal.

  13. Ajeti, please someone agree with me, poor poor signing, Lenny wanted him, why ? West Ham desperate to get rid , very disappointing.

  14. I don’t get this. If he doesn’t go just now, it should be the end of the season.

    It has to be now.

The issue I hear is that a couple of people have already knocked them back

  15. as soon as ajeti said he wanted to go on holiday and time to think it over as he didn’t want to come to us we should have told him to get to.

  16. Ole Gunnar Solskjær giving mctomminy a rest – he’s been away for 9 days – travelled extensively.

He only played 2 games – whereas Ryan

    Apologies for cutting your comment.

But, the cups is probably our problem, we became obsessed with winning without seeing the bigger picture.

This season was about winning the league, yet the fans are still looking at winning a treble from a season that finished months ago because of Covid.

Since the Rodgers unbeaten season the drop in quality season on season has been stark but not a surprise if you were watching the squad (and the lack of changes to the main players).

Winning the treble for 2019-20 season mean nothing when you lose the league this season.

  18. FAIRHILL BHOY

It defrosts quite quickly when in situ.

Time my friend is a great healer and memories are a wonderful thing.

    Take care and stay safe.

  19. have a good weekend bhoys – disappointment today but football is a funny ole game. Feeling spoilt and may have better perspective tomorrow.

  20. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

New management, El-Hamed for Frimpong, get Julian fit. get Elyanoussi out the team,, motivate Eddy.

    10 in a row.

  21. I think most on here thought we had a good summer transfer window.

    What went wrong?

Were the players not as good as we thought or are they poorly coached, played in the wrong position……………or simply not played?

  22. no time for europa or domestic cups this season , we have taken the eye from the only thing that matters this season and we are making an a*** of it.

  23. Phil (yeah, I know – pinch of salt) suggested that Celtic enquired about two “England based managers”. Any idea who they were and why they’re not in Lennon’s job?

  24. GEEBEE1978

That suggests the board are aware action needs to be taken soon.

MON wasn’t first choice and look how that turned out.

  25. CORKCELT on 21ST NOVEMBER 2020 7:35 PM

Well said.Particularly the point regarding our signings not coming up to scratch.

Until SB had a brain storm,I thought we were playing well and it was only a matter of time.

I paid for the Hibs TV so any reruns favouring Celtic were not shown, I’m sure however Murphy was well inside the box when penalty taken, thus getting to rebound ahead of Biton.

I have yet to see a name proposed to replace NL despite all the shouting.

Sooner we get Europe out the road the better,so we can consolidate.
