    Good Morning Bhoys from a frosty but Sunny Central Scotland I enjoyed last nights tussle at Rugby Park where Killie made us work hard for the 3 points. Now on to Wednesdays big one where im afraid I just cant see us getting anything but we are capable of giving Barcelona a hard match if we work hard and also keep our concentration. After that of course we have the league cup final the first bit of silver ware we can win this season and Aberdeen will be desperate to show they are more than just also rans so it is a big big week for the Bhoys in green or is that pink ? H.H.

    Are there rules about how often we have to wear that dreadful strip we wore last night? I, for one, hope it is the last time.

     

     

    I thought Kilmarnock played well last night. I know their “pitch” helped them but they did try and play football, which is always a welcome sight. Our team will only improve if we are given decent footballing opposition in domestic games. Hope they keep it up, although I do wish they would get to playing on grass (and I know that is not going to happen!).

    It was; we were down about 30 punters (some big gamblers in there) because of the game being on. It also meant we couldn’t do the Auction Race on the Tote Trio was much less. However made just over £800 profit, so it’s not a bad we boost for the ChapelChurch funds.

     

     

    I always start out looking to make a monkey and anything else is an absolute bonus!

     

     

    A very special thank you to the CQN input which came to around £300 which is fantastic! A great wee place to come for support!

    Well done to the boys last night. The support were outstanding. Overall not the best performance but 3 points won.

     

    The hideous PINK away strip is officially the WORST Celtic kit of all time. If they wanted to commemorate our Euro cup victory why not have this seasons kit an exact replica of the kit worn by the lions, albeit made of modern material. Would have sold considerably more than that clowns outfit.

    Watched the game when I got back last night. Competent performance on a very difficult surface against a team trying to play football.

     

     

    Hot and (very) cold from most of them and I think Armstrong deserved MOM. I don’t think Boyata was as bad as some were suggesting. For his first match in 7 months 9on a very difficult surface) I think he was as good/bad as the majority.

     

     

    Job done though and roll on Barca for the crunch game on Wednesday!

    A like the pink strip looks good, but its not a bloody Celtic strip.

     

     

    Just about thawed out from last night, I made the stupid mistake last night of taking my car down to get the supporters bus at ek town centre, had to sit all the way home watching my fellow Tims warming themselves up with various cans and bottles.

    The smsm reporting today on numerous big names who invested in film CO facing massive taxbills ?

     

    Alex FergusHUN, Hoddle , Boss of Sainburys etc. Not many actual names stated, but no mention of anyone associated with the CELTS, so far ?

     

    I would imagine however that IF ANY one from Celtic was included the smsm would be having a field day right now ?

     

    Story says any investor who put in £200,000 is facing £2/3 million in tax demand with 90 days to pay up.

    I thought Boyata played well. He has all the attributes to be a good defender, strength, pace, good positional sense, what has let him down in the past is concentration and poor passing. Last night, other than a few errant passes, and every player was guilty of that, he performed well.

    Said already that I like the pink strip.

     

     

    What’s I’d prefer is that we just had 2 strips, home and away, and both involving green and white and nothing else. But once you move away from our 2 primary colours anything is up for grabs. Personally I detest our various black ones down the years. Black has as much connection with Celtic as pink does.

     

     

    Would love us to run out at Ibrox in the pink, the theory being that they are no more our challengers than Kilmarnock.

    What would be an idea worth considering for the futire would be along the lines of – don’t really need a 3rd strip, but a chance to ‘experiment’, let’s try ‘ornage’ (or whatever) but with £10 from every one sold going to Mary’s Meals (or whoever…)

    Sat and read through all the live updates to get a feel for the game and i felt that i hadn’t missed much, yet when i came to that link and watched those highlights, it looked like we could and should have won by a few more.

     

    Even if that is us not playing particularly well, we were still way too good for Killie and i still loved some of our football.

    Boyata….not for me. Has it all to be a good player, but makes daft errors….concentration not his strongest point.

     

    Erik and Mik on the other hand….Solid.

     

    Im impressed by Erik, he is a very good defender, brave, and can play a pass…..and loves Celtic:)

    Thanks for posting that Gary67, it gives an explanation as to why we have a pink strip, not just a random commercial decision to have it.

     

     

    I have seen the ticket before, but never registered the association with the strip.

     

     

    I wont be buying one though:-)

     

     

    Old bloke in pink doesn’t work for me.
