MJ has been mismanaged and has been unprofessional (see spat with Neil Lennon when he should have gone off injured , see how his frame has not bulked up).
Wasted talent – should have been sent on loan years ago.

We say that every year, then absolutely nothing happens, despite the efforts of umpteen sets of backroom bhoys. Let’s face it, it’s never going to happen. He’s the ‘Nearly’ man. He is a total waste of a space that could be filled with a player who actually contributes.
I never expect any different from the BBC or media generally but they never cease to find new lows to sink down to.

I think if we get decent money Johnson,Turnbull ,McCarthy ,Taylor ,Bain, possibly Welsh ,take it,I know it’s a friendly but some players performances are just no good enough to play for Celtic.
The first half was Celtic at their flowing best, the second half was Ange playing silly buggers, no more no less.
Oh and SFTB, when we are 3-0 up agin the hun, we will probably add to it.

Second half wasn’t that bad, Certainly they had a period of total domination but we came back & last 20 minutes , I reckon we probably had more of the ball & threatened more than them.
It is also possible that they held their better players for second half while we did opposite,
Overall I enjoyed the game, these games are a learning curve for both players & Ange.
If there are weaknesses and if some players not good enough this is the time to find it out.
Obviously I’m gutted at dropping another 2 points but apart from that I think we are in a good place overall.

At several points over last season Ange emphasized the importance of having a large pool of players he could bring in and who were familiar with the teams patters of play and had enough match fitness to be able to step in without too much of a drop off in quality
At different points in the season every single outfield player suffered from a hamstring injury. Our style of play puts a lot of stress on players and means that injuries are almost a given, so a large squad will always be necessary
Ange also said that he conditions his teams to peak physically in the run up to seasons end which he considers to be the crucial part of the season
A rigorous pre season is very important in terms of conditioning every player in the squad to be ready when called on. That includes minutes in more competitive friendlies.
We were unbeaten in 32 games in the league last season, we don’t need the sort of confidence that beating a team 6-0 in a friendly brings
We do need match sharpness for as many squad members as possible. They’ll all be used at some point, but they won’t all be used together at the same time, so the weaknesses highlighted in a meaningless have will be largely hidden or made up fir by the first team players around them
celtic40me on
The result is meaningless, the performance also, although slightly less
Ange knows what every single one of those players can do, he won’t learn anything about Mikey Johnston or James McCarthy from today.
Too many changes that dont live up to the AP belief.
Im sure he knows what to do.

Good game for a testimonial and Arthur Boruc a true Celtic legend.
Had the game itself been the proverbial boxing match, it would have been stopped, Celtic were so far ahead the AP high intensive surge, consumed the home side, we lost count of the times we should have, or nearly scored and 2-0 flattered, battered Legia. But fitness and selection choices take precedence over results in pre season, the ‘system’ still leaves us wide open and forever trading punches with other teams, than can attack as we can.
It’s beginning to look like CCV and Stephen Welsh for the game against Aberdeen as Carl Starfelt coming back from injury with elsewhere Jullien. AP left only Stephen Welsh on, but the rout was turned into a circus with Celtic’s ten subs that were never going to adjust quickly enough against an already miffed Legia, who were actually Euro dangerous on the counter from the first minutes.
Much preferred the Celtic side that started but like every other Celtic supporter would swop in some favourites, just not ten of them, in a game that was Celtic probables against Celtic possibles.
