    Good Post, about some it up for me…

     

     

    The most disappointing thing for me was how quickly the players got disheartened.

     

     

    There were a few good displays in the first half but even they went off the boil.

     

     

    First time I’ve noticed this under Ange Baby…

     

     

    They should look at Captain Hart, a thorough professional.

     

     

    Thank goodness he’s there.

    As Ange said, It’s on him, we had a crap attitude today going forward, I think the players are in for the jaggy end of his tongue tomorrow, I don’t think they’ve heard it yet as he’s been focused on bigging up their confidence, time they were collectively told.

     

    I don’t think Juranovic played badly at all today but I think we missed Ralstons drive, commitment & crossing, I know he too can overhit them but a fair percentage are where they should be.

    Turnbull is a turnip. Beginning to make sense why Lennon spent 15 months chasing him. Says a lot about the player and the manager.

     

     

    Abada – will be playing on loan at Kilmarnock this time next year.

     

     

    Hart is a player. But if you buy goalkeeper after goalkeeper, you eventually must get one right. How much are Celtic paying goalkeepers ? Must be the best part of £4M a year and only one of them is playing.

     

     

    Kyogo is an absolute gem. Will be a star for a Celtic for the next few years

    My only time in the livi ground was a few years back when rodgers was our manager .

     

    i was sitting really close to the touchline , i was shocked by the amount of black dust and pellets sprayed everywhere after every tackle .

     

    its just not right and should be banned

    Sorry, have to disagree. Firstly, none of those players would change to the shape, so it’s the same tactic with different personnel.

     

     

    Soro and Bitton are defensive midfielders, so we would have less attacking threat (if we took Turnbull off as one of the subs). Added to that, Soro and Bitton aren’t good enough to be first team, god knows how they improve our changes of winning.

     

     

    We have nowhere near the squad depth. Betis made 5 subs on Thursday, we made 1. Similar issue today. Not much Ange can do about squad depth now.

    I played on a similar carpet with a one foot deep shredded tyre sub base back in 1987. It was pishing with rain the whole game, and I was wearing Adidas gutties with a moulded sole. Most of the other players had similar footwear.

     

     

    When we took our boots off in the pavilion, we were shocked to see that the parts of our socks inside the boots were completely black, as if they were dipped in paint or coal dust.

     

     

    I have no idea if there was any association, but shortly after, I got the big C, had a goolie removed, then many years later, a kidney, and part of my bladder. It has been proved to cause cancer in kids here, particularly goalkeepers, both boys and girls, who have played on it a lot, and inhale the toxic dust while diving and colliding with the ground. Parents successfully sued to preclude its use.

    His record is disgraceful. His players today were disgraceful. Ange displayed not a single clue of football tactics too. He wasted points. He has wasted many already.

    why don’t our board just give the Rangers the £40 million champions league money that the world and his dug knows that they need up front rather than bring in the not in demand by anyone manager AP and ask the fans to endure another season of semantics were we pretend to be competing all to keep the old firm rivalry alive?

    Bolingoli was far from the worst player in the Hoops. That accolade goes to McCarthy who has yet to impress me in a single game he has played so far this season. It never ceases to amaze me how great these players are because they have Celtic ‘credentials’ until the come to kick a ball for us.

     

    I thought Juranovic played well against the huns but has been distinctly average since then. Very good point made earlier about chopping and changing the defence. If Ralston is fit play him if not he shouldn’t be on the bench.

     

     

    On another note, Scott Robertson sent out on loan again and getting rave reviews, again. Why are we not using our better young players. Surely they are capable of playing Angeball? Luca Connell another one I would like to see getting a chance.

     

    The B team would probably served Livi’s @rses to them on a plate.

    Up until today was more than satisfied with Ange and his team’s display’s apart from defeat by the Stench however today was dreadful

     

    Apart from CV and Goalkeeper no one got pass marks

     

    Surface and Europe contributing factors but this must be a learning day for Ange, he has to be more pragmatic in his selection’s [horse’s for course’s] but most importantly he has to find out quick who he can depend on when things are not going to plan [and quick]

     

    I know we were a couple of principle players short today,but it was not PSG we were facing but Livingstone without a win

     

    The time to stamp his authority ,along with his philosophy on the squad has arrived

    I thought it was absolutely insane putting mj on. Absolutely insane. Mj just back from a terrible injury. We play there 2ce this season. I’m sorry but 99% of managers would have saved mj for a different day. To repeat what I have said, there was no evidence of tactics today. None whatsoever. Putting on mj makes me seriously consider Anges credentials, considering his truly awful away record.

    Agree on Boli, he got pass marks from what I saw. Looked up for the fight, which is what you need going to places like this.

     

     

    He’s miles better than Taylor.

     

     

    Back to my ‘places like this’ comment, BR got away with hidings in Europe and unwillingness to change his style of play because he demolished the domestic competition.

     

     

    It’s a totally different scenario if you’re not willing to change your style of play, but can’t beat SPL fodder away from home.

    IMO our board won’t sack Ange because that would mean two things:

     

     

    1) They would have to pay him off

     

     

    2) They would have to admit that they had made a mistake and appointed the wrong guy.

     

     

    Our board don’t make mistakes.

     

     

    It is very much the shambles I thought it would be with those people in charge.
